War Thunder is pay to win

Takes one to know one? Adults stop using this argument though as a mean to settle controvercial issues.

Its a basic truth, if not then what is it then? Im all ears bro.

there are many premium vehicles that are better than TT variants at the same or even lower BR

Just like Santa Claus. Every child knows that too.

Bro cant even tell the difference between childhood development and the cruel facts.

But in all fairness, that isn’t an issue, as it can be said about many free tree vehicles too. It could be an issue when there are no equal or better free variants or vehicles at that BR.

The cruel fact is, the game or life is not just about your needs. Every child will have to learn that too.

I don’t want to spam this thread further with your ping pong game. I can’t force you to play the game but if you do play, the developer forces you to see the bushes. I have to see your disco ball too. It isn’t our choice if we see it or not. If it was my choice, I surely wouldn’t see the disco ball and I am not decided about the bushes.

I already said I dont need to see cosmetic. You cant force me to see ur cosmetic.
Is it difficult to grasp?

War Thunder is pay to win

Especially if you play with the Russia:

  • SKR 7 is still at BR 4.3 when it should be at least BR 4.7
  • The most obscene OP aircraft in all the tech trees is at BR 6.7 when it should be at BR 8.0, given that the Me 163B is at BR 8.0… Their main excuse for justifying this absurdity is that you don’t see many of them, so it’s fine… Strange that this excuse isn’t applied to all the other nations as well…
  • The 2s38 is still at BR 10.7 when it should be at BR 11.7

Skr-7 has a battle rating of 4.3, in both AB and RB. And has had that for quite a while…

It’s my fault – I was typing too quickly or made a typo

The existence of actual objectives is nice, but everything else is really flawed… you pull incredibly hard, go incredibly fast, with no speed or turn limit, basically no ammo limitations, and a continuous supply of opps pouring into the furball. It’s just way too chaotic for anyone to think for a second about what they’re doing, unless what they’re doing is spawnkilling.
Realistic lacks objectives others than shredding everyone, but at least that part (shredding everyone) requires skill and not endlessly pulling the trigger on a lead indicator

Agreed.

That is just a setting that could be changed to realistic.

Starting with rank 7, yes, arcade becomes chaotic comedy. Below, you just have to avoid the furball. If you do, you can plan just fine.

Once you have better jets in realistic, it is all the same again. Not to mention the realistic red boxes.

I agree that realistic should get similar objectives (or objectives at all)

I have only experienced arcade at ranks 1-4 and from my experience the furball is like half of the map and the rest is just empty because absolutely everyone goes to the furball… except the one dude who tries (and sometimes succeeds) to spawncamp everyone

I don’t really want top tier so much, I’ll give it a go because I can but I don’t expect it to be very fun. I’ll probably stick to lower ranks

We get OT here now. But when I reached rank 7, I switched to realistic for most of my air games. Better suited for an old man. But the arcade matches at rank 1-4 are usually decided by the people NOT in the furballs. And spawn campers can only decide matches when there are enough noobs to prop-hang for them.

it’s kinda funny how arcade has objectives as game winning,
Simulator has objectives as game winning (at WW2 brackets at least. Idk top tier beyond ‘people quit after 1 death and irondome hell’ through forum osmosis)
But ARB is the weird odd one out.

Imagine “as many respawns as slots” and “infinite respawns as long as you got SL” make a big difference there.

Arb has a goal, slaughter everyone you see until there’s no one else standing. But gotta admit it’s not quite the most original or immersive objective possible.
I’m not sure respawns in base arb would be a good thing, the fact that you lose the match if you die makes your life worth more, in arcade you end up not caring so much because dying lets you respawn and come back possibly in a better position…
Imo the solution is just to implement a form of enduring confrontation where you can respawn

Ace crew Bf 109 F-4:

Level 0 Bf 109 F-4:

What I do:

I dive down to deck on eastern europe, winter with full WEP.
Then I pull full stick back AND 100% tail-heavy trim AND apply ~(-20%) rudder (left rudder)
I maintain trim until just under 15 deg AoA
I reset trim to 0% and keep pulling at 15 deg AoA as well as I can.

(ergo: First turn in 1 vs 1 109 tournament setting)

Now, there’s an issue with the level 0 example: Trim remains while G-LOC’d, but I lose full rudder and aileron control. Meaning, I lose the ability to control what direction I’m turning and I start slipping massively.

On the sustained turn side:

Ace crew can sustain ~6.1-6.3G long enough that I run out of altitude to convert into energy without any hint of control loss.

Newbie crew passes out in like 7 seconds.

In conclusion, crew skills make zero difference ™.

Spoiler

They do.
