It is painfully long time to play a gamemode i don’t even like
You do not even realize how i was happy i can finally get off from ARB to never ever play it again after i’ve researched su-34. Now i can play it in GRB and i can never waste time on ARB again
Journey? Yeah, what a journey, mindless grind with su25 forcing headons, just to get mig21 and put a talisman. i’ve achieved 2.4KD in mig21smt, so it wasn’t “that bad”, getting frags was a little dopamine hit, but overall the game still was just bad and boring for me.
And doing all of this just because i need to have a PLANE for GROUND battles to have competetive lineup.
And the modules? Yeah, i am not researching modules ever again. I just GE to the missiles/sabot/parts. Imagine having to pay real life money or having to pay with your sanity and time to make your vehicle usable.
Exactly. Majority of the modules should not require research. The only thing that should be researched are the rounds and weaponry. Why should I have to painfully grind for survivability (Parts, EFS, countermeasures, etc.)
If you didn’t understand… i said I (me) don’t mind …not that i am fan of it, not that it is right or whatever.
Just the least of MY concerns.
I’m way more annoyed with Mod grind in every plane , than to grind the plane itself.
Never said it was ok, or right or whatever.
Why you answer like i said i did?
Because of the ^journey^ ? Which i used this ^^ , meaning i don’t mean that for real . If i meant that i’ll be saying “it’s the journey” …flat.
Seriously people here, if you don’t understand freaking ask . Not all of us have native language English and you don’t have to constantly be on the offensive …especially when you support the same things.
If you don’t read , freakin don’t reply…
You need 2571 x 2 (G+stamina) crew XP to max your crew’s viability for dogfighting. Given 100 RP gained gives 1 XP, that’s 514200 RP per crew slot for aircraft, and above rank 3 you need even more to buy expert.
This isn’t that big of an issue in ARB as you only fly a single plane, but in every other mode where you use a lineup… your options become: Only ever spawn a single slot so that I get my crew competetive even if another plane would be better suited or keep a variety of aircraft and suffer from passing out from a 5.5G turn in 10 seconds.
Testing was done in F4U-4 and WTRTI G-loading display by starting at 5000 meter altitude on Denmark, 500 km/h TAS and then entering a descending spiral and trying my best to maintain 5.5G sans instructor. The Expert variant stopped only because the ground was too close, it had zero hint of vignetting despite consistent 5.5+. Noob variant was often just below 5.5 and you can see when the pilot passed out.
And being able to either sustain 5.5G continously or in rapid succession (e.g: in flat or vertical scissors) makes a massive difference for fighters that turn best when you got 450-550 km/h speed banked in a downhill fight.
This is a big reason why I only either fly my Mustang Ia OR a spitfire in SB, never both. I tried bringing both into a game and the spitfire was barely usable - I had better luck trying to turnfight with the cannonstang than the spitfire and losing my quarry to vignetting.
Same goes for either having an army-zero or normal zero, never both.
That’s my issue as well, I can only use two slots for fighters, otherwise I cannot have a proper fighting loadout. On a 5 crew setup, I go Plane, Tank, SPAA/SPG, Tank, Heli/Tank. If I do 1v1s, I only have two viable fighting slots, while the rest are pitiful, with maybe 10 levels strictly from the tanks exp leaking onto the air.
Don’t you think what I’m asking is how one grinds mods in GRB? Do I have to spell it out? He implied to me he unlocked only the vehicle then went straight to GRB. GRB doesn’t give jack for RP and it’s a hostile environment.
I just chuck a playlist on and get to it. Whilst it’s slow, I find it better than the arcade alternative of being highlighted easier and being as visible as you are on that mode.
That’s what I do with planes and jets I abhor. I grind enough to get bombs in ARB, and then I make them designated CAS planes. If I get an elimination, Coolio. If I don’t, well I already hate the plane, my opinion is not changing on it.
Is it low skill? Oh yeah. Do I hate myself since I hate CAS players? Well duh, I play War Thunder for fun, obviously I’m mental. Is it easy points and easy camo grind? Oh you bet.
Also, I get where you are coming from, but I mean, it is implied, not said. Then again, English is a foreign language to me, I’m just trying my best. If not, Redcoat Gaijin might send me to Botany Bay for not speaking the king’s English.
I can also speak Italian, specifically the Western Lombard dialect. The missus has yelled at me enough to where I’m nearly fluent. Turns out eating normal food is a sin, and I should be grateful I have to eat various pastas instead of potatoes and lamb. On the bright side, I can at least understand what my commander is yelling when I play Italy.
