War Thunder is a Toxic Game

Nah, the game has influence on people’s perspectives and mood. It is designed, repeat, DESIGNED to frustrate you into spending money. That alone will make people toxic and it isn’t accounting for anything else.

Nope… It’s the same as those who think the game is made to make you buy premium.

That’s just you thinking that it’s about that, and your mindset has absolutely a massive amount to do with how you enjoy something…

As that’s where this ‘unfun’ interpretation comes in to it.

It’s the same as the SPAA/CAS problem… You don’t find it fun, so you don’t use it, then you die to CAS, then you moan…

Same thing, different thread.

Player issue, nothing more.

The game is literally designed to do that. I will not argue this because it is factual. It’s literally how a f2p game works. You don’t get to deny reality and ALSO get a discussion out of it lol.

You don’t know the difference between perception and fact… That’s about as factual as it can get.

Everytime you post here you just seem less reasonable and more like a paid actor. it is fact, pure fact, nothing else, that gaijin deliberately sets the game up to be frustrating to a f2p player so they want to spend money to make it less frustrating. This isn’t even an outlier opinion. I’m in the 99% here, you’re the 1% claiming not lol. Not going to reply to this further so go ahead and get the last word in.

The grind is easy.
And real tankers “play like a rat”, you hating valid tank tactics is itself a toxic thing.

Just because I disagree with you, doesn’t make my post any less factual… This is why I don’t turn around to say that anything I say is fact, because you obviously have no grasp of the difference.

The inferance that I’m paid, or a shill, is dumb… I merely enjoy the game you all obviously have trouble with… I don’t have trouble with it, you do, you want changes, I don’t…

No reason to assume I’m an asshole, arguing for the sake of it or anything nefarious, you merely can’t handle the opposing points…

Much the same as a good portion of those who think they are ‘partaking’ in this forum…

You throwing that in after the fact and making the edit, shows how we factually have a group of players on these forums who have NO CARE to discuss ANYTHING, take on board ANYONE elses points, and they just want an echo chamber.

And this, again, comes back to a player issue, where they are oblivious in many cases to any feature because they deem themselves too good or not wasting thier time on things that they don’t want, and then moan and whinge about the consequences of ignoring that side of the game, that they want to play…

If you want to play it, then that’s part of the game… Want single player, well, this game doesn’t have it. Kill or die, either way, it’s part of the game. Get with it.

It’s not the game. It’s the gamemode.

This mantra of the game making people toxic and that there is no fun to be had is mostly a RB thing.

I often do a vibe check at the start of a battle in AB and RB.

I just write “Remember the real winner is the one who has the most fun” at the start of an AB or RB battle.
The average reaction is veeeeery different from AB to RB. (Only air)

AB players usually react positive while RB players are almost always edgy and acting like there is no fun to be had. Maybe it’s just RB that’s bad. Maybe RB attracts negative people… I don’t know but the vibe of the Communities is very different.

For sim i cannot speak, while i play sim a lot, i use a vr headset and chatting is a chore so i don’t often do it in SB. Also match starts aren’t really a thing i regularly witness in SB.

This is common too, I find also that when I call on people to play the long game or to actually go for something, they will.

It’s all about putting the message out there as a suggestion and encouragement more than demand or negatively.

That mere sign, makes the match feel different.

There are a lot of worn-out over-tired players thinking they need to keep grinding the way they are being all caught up and septic, not realizing they can make it all a lot easier on themselves, by not being as cut up as they are, all the time, about this game, that they choose to play with the jaded glasses on, only seeing negatives.

Holy moly that difference is wild.

Well this is just anecdotal evidence, so take it with a large grain of salt.

This is one of the truest things, at least the RB part. I feel like most RB players think that RB is the primary game mode and that everyone should play RB if they are experienced and AB if they are new. Those players take this game WAY to seriously, and it makes them bitter. I used to be more bitter about playing, but then I realized that it isn’t that serious and now I have much, much more fun.

No my dude, you are simply denying a fact in reality that literally almost everyone else has agreed upon.

Realistic holds probably if I had to guess like 75-80% of the population so yeah you’re going to a difference going to a super niche area of the game like arcade or sim

Thos is BS most players play arcade.

I have to look it up but someone analyzed this by checking all replays and how much of each mode was played. The SB data wasn’t usable due to the ec system messinh with the replay data.

But then it was about 60% arcade.

With tans about twice as many played AB compared to RB, while air it was about 50:50.

You may not like it but arcade is the number one mode.of.war Thunder.
And in my opinion rightfully so. But that’s just my opinion.

Arcade is where all the prop lovers hang out for air.
And ground arcade is surprisingly balanced at all BRs.

I have to say that i made similar experiences, at least for air. Ground might be different since the ground modes are much more similar to eachother than the air modes.

Another clue that they think they are the main mode is that most post in the general section of the forum that should be about general WT issues, sre still specific to RB. So RB players tend to think that the issues of RB are the issues of the entire game. Which is not the case.

But again this is my subjective opinion.
