War Thunder "Hornet's Sting" - Changelog

@Smin1080p_WT @Stona_WT May I ask where the Raytracing is for Consoles?
Because before the reason why we dont had it yet was Raytracing was only ready for Nvidia cards, now we have Raytracing for Nvidia/AMD and Intel, so where can I activate it on Console?

I second this. The turret basket nerf was a terrible idea. At the very least revert it until every single other MBT gets it.

And reverse all the extra tank module modelling while we are at it

Worst update from what i can remember. Best thing is the new shooting sounds.

Show me how the auto loader carousel is not realistic and I’ll second it.

If they don’t make sense, sure. This nerf doesn’t because the rotating mechanism is separate from basket. Hitting the autoloader is a T-series should just affect loading. If it’s impacting turret rotation and the two modules are seperate in IRL, then it absolutely should be reverted. The whole point of this was to address a skill issue. Its a nerf for the sake of a nerf and is not really about adding an aspect of realism.

And the turret basket is not realistic?

For Ger at least its a catastrophic update. We get a wheeled car, ultra low tier. A boat with a single Bofors on it. A huge nerf for the Eurofighter and all Leopard 2 tanks. Ouch. I can’t remember a similar bad update.

I’ve never had a problem with side shots before the modelling for either.

But the basket is important for rotation, you aren’t turning the thing with hydraulics damaged

I asked about the auto loader mechanism. I’m not going to just defend one side if there is a realistic reason to defend the other.

Both are realistic

Well that is factually not true. Most tanks have a manual turret rotation mechanism. At the very least the Abrams does. Crews use it to rotate the turret while the engine is off. Its a helluva workout but it can be done.

Do you realise what hydraulics do? it’s what gives you the mechanical multiplier for manual rotation.

The rotating mechanism is not part of the basket. Later Leopards have electr. turret drives.

do you need reminding?

Its a metal sheet to sit and to walk on.

Training accident in Scandinavia. You can also see it from below.

The floor of the turret basket is not just a metal sheet to walk on, but instead houses all kinds of electrics and hydraulics with means to connect them to the hull.
