Sorry to bother you with this question, but I wanted to know why the BOZ-102EC countermeasures are not available in the game for the Panavia Tornado MLU RET.8, even though they were historically used on this aircraft. Additionally, it seems that they are already modeled in the game files.
Is there a specific reason for their absence?
Are there any plans to add them in a future update?
Thank you in advance for your response and for your time.
So why are there just some changes during a major update that just never get listed? Like how Ash River is flattened out on the mountainside of the map now
Having played a few games of naval AB with the new mechanic I’m actually surprised to say I’m into it.
I’m dying a lot quicker sometimes than I’m used to or would like, conversely though I find I’m also having some of the best matches I’ve ever had too
I really do like how it’s making players have to manoeuvre about to avoid dying fast unlike previously, I also rather like how with my wooden hulled vlt2 I can at least get a hit or two on a pr206 now before its guns obliterate anything (that thing needs its br upping badly)
The only thing that’s bugging me and I really don’t understand is the extra br compression introduced, it’s brought things way too close together when there should have been significant decompression instead.
Please could we get that side of things re-looked at as it’s ruining the (lack of) balance even further
Surprisingly, I agree. I’ve always felt that Naval AB was strangely more difficult than RB, and now the difference seems appropriate. AB matches now feel quicker and more punchy, and I’m sincerely hoping this easier mechanic attracts more new players.
I definitely understand this complaint, but recognizing how Naval struggles with player numbers, decompression would only elongate already too-long queue times, and should only come when there are enough players to support it. Until then, a little lopsidedness in the matchmaker is kind of the least of Naval’s issues. Building a player base is priority one.
The Br issue I mention is because they’ve moved a bunch down in br in this update making the already bad compression even worse, it just wasn’t needed to be done at all really, I don’t think making it worse in that way is particularly attractive to new players either tbh it means you can get stomped on more if you don’t know what to do yet and if you’re new to the mode well that’s not fun
Queue times was something that was meant to be addressed some by introducing more ai ships, but tbh I’m not entirely sure that’s happening much in terms of shortening queues
But yeah I do agrrr increasing player base would help a lot, as you mention there’s a good load of naval issues that need addressing. For me br compression is actually towards the upper end of the list to sort out from a personal perspective
Your DLSS 4 looks soooo bad. It was better when it was dlss3 and force dlss4 on nvidia app. Everytime you guys update graphics it looks worst then before. Pls stop
While it’s not ideal and hopefully will have the chance for a future correction, the benefit of compression is that A) More ship classes now qualify for the same matchmaker, ergo, quicker queue times, and B) it gets new players to more powerful ships more rapidly, which is an incentive. The grind to top tier has always been a complaint of new players, so compression ameliorates this to some degree.
Agreed, I’ve noticed zero uptick in queue times since the extra bot infusion and, tbh, I can’t stand them. I wish the bots were gone entirely, and I also wish players spawned-in more spread across the map to prevent the never-ending and always frustration traffic jam at the start of each match.
so in your thinking the consequence would be to have 7.0 battleships and 3.0 resrerve destroyers in one match - no more queue times - bigger playerbase, really??
Imagine this in ground matches - abrams and shermans in one match - great!
That’s not what i meant to suggest. Only insofar as the compression that has just now occurred, I meant. Nothing extreme like 3.0s mixing with 7.0s.
Though, relatedly, one of the things I’ve always liked about Naval is that, unlike Air and Ground, there’s a good deal of flexibility with the BRs - in my experience, anyway. I love taking 4.0 Coastal vessels into higher tiers, and sometimes with great effect. Certain 4.7 destroyers can absolutely go after 5.7 cruisers with impunity, and some 5.7 cruisers make for perfect 7.0 backups. The 6.3 Des Moines is a beast at all BRs.
there are BR ranges in which +1BR makes a much bigger difference as in other gaming modes. esp. in coastal gameplay. There are also a number of light cruisers in the same BR as the US ones with their extreme high rate of fire but can’t compete
Experience after this update:
-Screenshot function not working.
-Game crached when i tied to enter ground battle.
-Player side replay not record every hit.
-Player side replay record incorrect hits and damage in ground battles.
OR
-Game record incorrect damages in ground battles.(issue: Community Bug Reporting System) video attached to issue.
I also play sim battles, and find it very frustrating to take off from airfield and die by enemies missles before i even lift my gear. It would be nice to have an iron dome system or The Phalanx Close-In Weapon System (CIWS), near each airfield. Rolands are not enough help. The Reduced 36km range in TWS now has helped though from getting snipped across the map at airfields.
