Um, free RP doesn’t remove RP from your rewards.
If “free RP” didn’t exist, your rewards would stay the same, because it’s a method for richer people to buy an entire tech tree after completing one pretty much.
It’s called “Convertible RP” not “free”.
My guess is that it is there so that players have to play the game to be able to buy tech tree vehicles and vehicle modifications with GE and can’t buy out an entire tech tree as a completely new account.
It in no way effects the RP you actually get from playing.

They should just give those for free or for silvers lions, i think we can both agree that the second part of my post(a f2p have to do about 100 matchs to get one single top tier plane) is true and not normal
I know it’s <100 of battle hours to complete a tech tree [the specific trees like ground/air/naval], with a premium account and no premium vehicle. It’s like 30 - 50 hours with a premium vehicle.
Without a premium account, or vehicle, it’s probably 150 - 200 battle hours.
That’s a decent chunk in a vacuum, no doubt.
Even at a modest 1 hour a day, that’s half a year to get 1 tech tree out of the over 30 in-game.
Most live service games are worse than this in hours spent.
Some are better [looks at Battlefield].
So I personally don’t know what to think about this time investment, because to me it’s above average based on things I’ve played over 15 years of live service gaming.
The real crime with convertible RP is that the exchange rate is still the same it was when top tier vehicles were not 400.000+ RP
