Imagine what if Gaijin merged the mobile version with a new PC version… and there would be the regular War Thunder, and a War Thunder that was for both PC and phone! Like Minecraft! Would you be happy?

I dont really even understand why mobile was a different game really. Everyone ought to be on the same servers with the same save files.
modern smartphones are more powerful than generic laptops that can run WT when war thunder came out. Loads of the models are the same, settings are just detuned a little. there is no need for a “pocket edition” at all
also, wheres the nintendo switch version. SW1 was powerful enough to run the game, a SW2 is not far off my PC in gpu power, there isnt any excuse when XB and PS have the game

I honestly doubt that, there isnt a hardware issue. like the next COD is going to be on switch 2, DOOM 2016 and eternal ran on the switch 1, minecraft is getting a swtich 2 version with the vibrant visuals shaders on by default, the Crew Motorfest runs on switch 2 and looks damn good. if a developer wants to make a game on switch they are almost always welcoming to it now as well.
Gaijin not even looking into it i think is the more likely reason.
the switch 2 is as powerful as a ps4 pro. no its not.

That. I would be interested in mobile if were the same game on a tablet (its really not playable on a smaller phone IME). But its just different (and annoyingly like gotcha games) and the progress doesn’t translate between the two, that its not worth the investment of time.

I dont play games on my phone, if i want to game while im out i modded an original gameboy to play tetris, or i take my switch 2. I would probably at minimum try it out on mobile tho if we had the same save files.
If it came to my modern console (switch 2) and didnt let me use my PC save i probably wouldnt bother either really. Crossplay should be the norm, its not 2006 anymore
