Well if you have alot of trouble with it when others don’t, it highly sounds like that’s a you issue.
And playing a game for long doesn’t even mean much. There are enough people out there unwilling or unable to learn how to play a game well despite having over a thousand hours in it. Hell, in WoT, your average 7+ year veteran was worse than someone that picked the game up a couple months ago and watched some YT CCs to learn about tanks and tactics, and then also applied them correctly ingame.
For every following “shit” it tried, i cut afterburner ASAP
→ Looping and flares : no results
→ split-S and Flares: no results
→ S path + flares : no results
→ hard banking left/right + flares: no results
→ vertical S path +flares : no results (while working against AIM-9M)
None of those are , for me in a Mirage 2000, efficient.
But i have to say that the game have modeled only LIGHT FLARES on any Mirage 2000, meanwhile most other aircrafts do have the access to medium or Heavy caliber flares.
Since current flares do not take into account anything else but the caliber, Mirage 2000 is Defavorised against any missile
However,… the ONLY missile that is clearly not giving a single shit about Mirage 2000 is the R-73,…
In the meantime,… the Magic-II is currently having the SAME IRCCM Values in-game,… but instantly goes for flares when doing any of the previous maneuvers.
So now,… explain to me how to Flare a R-73 in Mirage 2000 (C or -5F) with details instead of the usual bully crap of learn to play we serve to new players not knowing how those works.
Loops and verticals obvs lose too much speed. You need speed when dodging missiles. If you go slow, Aim9Ms and Magic 2s will usually hit, too. For an S you get back toward the seeker head, that works better for 20g and less missiles that can’t turn back in time.
Did you try alot of flares and then hard banking? like I said, you want to fool the missile first, then get out of the seeker head, not get the missile into top aspect and then flare, bc it won’t see the flares that way. M2K is a huge target from top aspect. For me, this usually works if I don’t go too slow already.
No. I was asking if you were flaring alot, and AFTER THAT bank hard. Because only flaring while hard banking, not before, is much less effective.
Missiles with narrow seekers are easier to fool in rear aspect than in top aspect, if you bank hard first before flaring the missile will be in top aspect.
Did clouds get improved this update… or recently? Today I realized that weird cumulus are gone for good and instead we’ve got a very realistic looking sky.
Aside from that, the changes on backup activation are most welcomed.
You’re allowed to doubt all you want but I’ve had it happen on multiple instances. Sometimes at 100 meters, sometimes 500 meters.
By comparison I’ll have pointblank M829 only orange a turret ring on a T80BVM from a side back shot that absolutely should have gotten at least one crew member.
I’ve also had M829A2 go clean through 3 times without setting off ammunition on T80BVMs and had to crew snipe to get a kill after 6 rounds. The only miracle being they didn’t kill me first.
Is anybody having success maintaining his daily login streak with the War Thunder Mobile app?
I was at day 81 on Sunday, logged into the mobile app on Monday and today (Tuesday), when logging into the game, it said that I am at day 82. Obviously the mobile login is missing here.
I am using the exact same account for both the main game and the mobile version obviously.
Well 2 is a trend, and im not schizo, but I dont have an ability to game capture, although blatantly lying about something so possible is stupid anyways. Its far within the realm of possibility
