For sure, that is another consideration.

Ammunition selection is one of the central balancing factors (along with reload speed) that Gaijin has made clear they are willing to play fast and loose with.

Ammunition and armor are relative to each other, before you can introduce a more powerful ammunition, you need armor to be strong enough overall to warrant it.

Since most of the current top tier tanks can be frontally penned by 3BM42 (APFSDS available since BR 9.7 on MBT), then I agree, we don’t need better rounds just yet.

M829A3, A4 or DM63/DM73 won’t change anything if Gaijin doesn’t add anti-ERA properties, hell DM53, L27A1 and M338 should be cutting K5 T Series like a hot knife through butter right now.

and btw, almost all nato tanks have knockout panels, which makes chance of ammo exploding very low (while t72/80 have shahid’s ammo (and less crew, too) )

you know the panel is only in the turret right?
if you hit the ammo in the hull there are no panels.
and i love how you didn’t adress anything else i said but just pointed out the one tiny detail you could nitpick.

The J-11/SU-27 is very balanced

I’m not bad at the game and play fine at air RB, my point was that the SU-27S/J-11 was blatantly overpowered and I know how it feels to have a underperforming vehicle since my previous main tech tree was UK ground and aviation.

This seriously needs to be looked at since most tech trees don’t have a counter

Basically my point was that no vehicle should have the power to destroy half the enemy team without rearming

Oh, don’t worry i’m not targeting you personally,… but the Bashing//Biasing is so blatant,…

Having a lot of missile doesn’t bother me, but the quality of all missiles should be on par,… R-27ER and R-73 are designed with no flaws or balancing nerfs → that’s my only point, to give all nations the same standard of modelization quality.

Ironically I find the current sound system far more realistic. The UL frequencies are correct and as a tanker, you don’t hear other engines as easily as you can in War Thunder.

In short, you have to be more conservative in your playing mindset.

I’m absolutely for Italians and French receiving some more accuracy to their armor and rounds if possible. Same as the British/Scots/Welsh.

That being said, I feel the Leclerc is already a very intimidating vehicle with its speed, same as the Type 90 and Type 10.

I can’t say if that’s all of them, or if that’s an influx of old “new” players who want to jump through premium vehicles to grind for the newest and best.

As a former tanker, I know exactly how many rounds to carry to keep Abrams’ hull clear.

In my experience, at least 1 in 7 or 1 in 8 times when I’m killed in an Abrams, there is no flight path of the round shown. Instead I simply ammo det.

I have seen kill cams show DM53, 3BM42, 3BM60, and Chinese/Japanese high tier rounds overpen the front of my turret, through the loader, and through the ammo door before detonating.

Others, it won’t show a kill cam. Instead I die, and it only shows the tank that killed me. No shell trajectory to speak of.

Which makes me question how they did it.

I absolutely agree

A lot of us brought this up the moment they revealed the fact that the Su-27 was going to have 10 missiles. And six of them being the best SARH. We’ve asked for better Aim-7s, better 9Ms, reducing the amount of R-27ERs like they did for the Yak-141. And not a word from them.

It’s the most overpowered aircraft in the game because it can carry six of those missiles.

Remove the damn " * Ultra-low frequencies have been added to the sounds of explosions, gun shots, and aircraft engines to give more richness to the game mix."
There is so much bass now that not even my headphones EQ can tune down. Everything is muffled!!!
We went through this before, didnt we!!!
Or implement a fucking EQ in the game.
Can’t hear a fucking thing when the ULF will kill all the other freq in the headsets with large drivers.
