War Thunder "Air Superiority" - Changelog

It looks like they’re working on it and working hard, right

Feel like the sound changes still need qutie a bit of tweaking. At the moment they make gunsounds and the likes sound muddy and muffled, almost like you were hearing them from behind a wall or barrier. The added ultra-low frequencies seeming to overpower most other aspects of things like gunsounds. Making it also way more difficult now to hear where you’re getting shot from. Since almost any other sounds will drown out the low muddy thump of the guns.

Thank you, johns, because of you were afraid of the T90m and demanded that all tanks be given anti-fragmentation lining (to decrease damage of kinetics), the toptier is now unplayable. fully.

ok vladimir vladimirovic, skill issue

Maybe because they all have spall liners integrated in armor

you mean that its now actually fair?
The T-serries tanks has had less spalling for years.

Why would you do that?
It’s supposed to reduce spalling IF the armor is penetrated.
You put it behind the armor, not inside it because if a round penetrates your armor it just creates spalling through the backplate again.

you should look at what tanks they gave it to. damage has decreased for ALL tanks, regardless of protection.

Leopards and t90m, i am still waiting for spall liners for Ariete and M1

fair is when you shoot at the side of a tank, no matter NATO or Soviet, and make -1 or even no damage?

they are oneshots. they are the easiest to kill

yes, because the damage before was the spalling.

not even close. almost everyone on the forum says the opposite.

who? unskilled johns who doesnt want to learn how to play?

So you are unskilled sasha who doesn’t want to learn how to aim

oh i’m as good player. but the fact that T-serries had less spalling thus killing fewer crew per shot as well as “wet storage” (applied even to the autoloader ammo) making them less likely to explode when hit, in combination with being hit with less spalling making the ammo exponentially less likely to explode compared to other tanks does give an unfair advantage even if you know where to aim to hit that ammo.

If they add DM73 to another tank, the 2A7V should get it too. But I’m totally for just not adding DM73 at all, same as adding other more modern rounds significantly past the levels of DM53 (similar/minisculy better is okay). Having more pen going around would make things even harder to balance.

Its advantages are more lineup-wise with having more Leclercs than Type 10s, a toptier SPAA and having some of the best CAS options vs some of the worst. I know it’s not much, same as the possibility of getting better support tanks in the future bc Japan is pretty much done at this point, but it’s something.
