I have to somewhat agree. The F-15A could’ve seen 120As at the least. I don’t think 7Ps are a big ask since the only improvement they bring is the datalink. Which solves the very issue plaguing the 7Ms.

The 2A7V definitely doesn’t need it and honestly shouldn’t get it.
It needs fixing to the armor and transmission. After that it will already be one of the more dominant MBTs at top tier. DM53 is fine for now.

It would still have that dart, in the british tree nonetheless. Gimping the 2A7 just so the CR3 has something unique feels wrong.
Like I said, let the CR3 be a lower BR instead to make it unique.

which is why it makes alot more sense to put the CR3 at a lower BR. With your argumentation, how about we:
- don’t give the Leclercs a buffed reload, so the Type 10 can be unique
- don’t give the SEP v2 a better dart, so the CR3 can have the best dart
- don’t give the SEP v2 armor improvements, so the STRV122’s are unique in having great armor on a western tank
- remove spall liner from all tanks except the T90M, so it can be the T90M’s unique thing
see how silly this becomes very quickly?

You make some fair points which I kind of agree with.
But no, the 2A7V doesn’t need and shouldn’t get DM73, under any current circumstances.
It can already easily move to 12.3 with it’s correct armor and transmission, which should happen regardless.
This would also leave the Challenger 3 at 11.7 without DM73, where it’s closer to it’s counterparts.
Random 4th reich power fantasies are no reason to buff the 2A7V even further (excluding needed fixes, I don’t count those as buffs).
No its only worse as gajin makes it worse Challenger 2 and 3 should be on par with Leopards of the same time period

As a German player, I would say that at this stage the A7V does not really need the DM73 (unless a more powerful tank is launched later), the Challenger 3 needs it more than we do, and what the German player needs at the moment is to fix the armor and maneuverability of the Leopard II A7V.

The German Leopard II A7v in the game is not weak in firepower, and for now, apart from Gaijin’s deliberately weakened armor and maneuverability, she is simply a perfect tank (although the top German queue is not perfect)

Are you sure those 6k lost players are bc of the update and not just because it’s holiday season? Alot of people go for vacation or visit their family this time of the year, even early december. For example, one of my WT buddies took all of december off and is staying with his family, where he doesn’t have access to WT.

Why do you think people hurry to toptier so much? Alot of them just want quick tank/plane action and not sit behind a hill for 20min or climb and position for 10min for 2 kills. Skipping straight through WW2 and some of the cold war bc it’s “too slow”. …
And that doesn’t even have anything to do with low attention spans or smth, some people just don’t have alot of time to play, and they don’t want a long drawn out game where they don’t get to do anything much before they have to get on with their day again.
If that is their mentality, they’ll continue to do poorly and blame it only on the models and not their own poor choices. I’m not stupid enough to say everything in top tier is Russian or Chinese bias, even if somedays I feel it is.
And with the questionable manner in which certain high tier rounds overpen my front plate and detonate my ammo, particularly with Russian or Chinese rounds, I’m inclined to give bombastic sideeye to the developers with repeated player reports explaining what happened.
Nevertheless, while the DU plate being nonexistent hacks me off something fierce, I’m still going to try and be reasonable and expect my fellow players to perform.
Gaijin is currently reviewing reports about Leclercs.
Reports about Leclerc’s turret speed being too slow has been acknowledged, and all Leclerc turret speeds have been buffed in the next data mine.
Report about Leclerc’s armor has been reviewed and officially DENIED by the developers. We will never see any armor improvements.
The only thing us Leclerc players can pray for now is spall liners, or possibly a better shell like SHARD.

I also hope that we get a better reload speed, but thats at the mercy of Gaijin’s ‘balancing’ rather than realism.

I am sad that the Leclerc isn’t getting any armor improvements…
Turret is what I cared the least about; but I cared a lot about the UFP…
However, I am glad it will now get excellent gun handling, at last, giving it, at least, ONE advantage over the Type 10s hahahah
If it gets spall liners it will be a huge improvement, too! Since the tank is very spacious and “empty”, spall liners would drastically increase its survivability.

There are some buffs to basically all the Chinese top MBT’s in 2.33.0.20 (Not yet live)
But under one of the chinese tanks (specifically the VT-4A1), it says that the effective armour is being increased under “leopard 2A5_turret_nera”
Im curious if this will actually effect the Leopard 2A5 aswell (and the ones after that aswell)

Would be nice if it did affect the 2a5. From what it looks like they haven’t messed with the code for the Leopards yet
