Want free SL(money), especially in High BRs when you are grinding only?

Here are my suggestions on what to buy on higher BR, grind through ground vehicles. All the mobility modifications except Engine upgrade is not cost effective in my opinion. On the other hand, all the OK signed modifications are crucial whether it makes you not die, or get a surprise kill/area denial, quicker shots etc. Also, generally, there is one ammunition that is the best for your vehicle. If your stock ammo is close to non-top level ammo, use it. In Leo’s case, first tier APFSDS is crucial imho for its speed and pen for grinding games.

Note: To remind, if you won’t touch these vehicles after grinding, disable auto purchase and keep some money in your pockets.

Honestly Transmission/Filters are very worth it. Mobility is key at top tier.
Also, is modification costs really a problem at top tier for F2P players? I haven’t played F2P in years, so I don’t know.

Just imagine playing without a premium account.
It’s like 10 cents per day, so anyone semi-serious about the game should use it, it’s like some sort a “soft” subscription method lol.

Could you please re-read, my post, even if only for the note that understand that I am talking about the vehicle you will never play after spading? Do I need to make a tiktok video with simpler sentences for young people?

Also, to your question. Top tier is at least 2x-3x hard because premium players can never go below 0 SL but normal players not only get less money from wins but also can go to negative SL by playing badly. If you are premium, you can safely spam games without the risk of going bankrupt. At the worst case, you get low RP and maybe 0 SL. F2P players are fucked up in top tier. They need to finance their top tier game with event premiums or normal lower level lineups, ideally 6.7

never had issues with money, still getting a huge net positive without premium planes/accounts

Paying money for anything, no matter how cheap, when you are not using it sounds like a terrible investment for me.

If you can use it indefinitely for forever, it’s fine to take breaks. Thus, premium vehicles make sense.

For premium to be justified, you must be able to play every day.

You cannot make up for not playing 1 hour each day for 5 days by playing 5 hours on 1 day. You still paid money for nothing for those 5 days.

Warthunder really needs to add an SL talisman so that you can premiumify the vehicles you like to make SL with rather than buy stuff you don’t care about to afford your gameplay.

And before you ask:

I pay my water, gas and electricity based on the liters/kWh consumed.

I look at that in a very different way.
You don’t need to play every day to justify a premium account, you only need to play a certain amount of hours in order to be a “good value”. This metric is obviously different from person to person.

If you gather 500 hours of playtime during a year, it means you’ve paid 40 euros to get much better experience during those 500 hours, which is honestly well worth it in my opinion.

That’s like tipping WT 50 cents over those 5 days.

Do you pay the base cost of running the “service” that stays the same regardless of your resource usage ?
If you do, then you’re paying them for nothing if you consume 0 liter/kWh in a day.

Tracks, too. Steering, particularly neutral and sharp turns, are affected a lot by it- even acceleration and obstacle/slope climbing.

WW2-tier but good demo:

That money adds up.

I could also pay 40 euros on something semi-permanent or at least indefinite. I’d be fine paying for a set of premium navy props (say “Pacific Theatre pack” with premium hellcat, zero, seafire, wildcat corsair and a corsair given that the usual rank 2/rank 3 plane is ~1000-2000 GE and 1000 GE is at 7 euros., so 40 euros would cover a set of pacific theatre props) since I can go and use them whenever I want (server issues and bans notwithstanding).

Unfortunately yes, but fortunately it’s in eastern european monopoly money so it’s actually adjusted to local income ranges. Electricity bill last month came out total at some… 6000 HUF? It’s also something I use every day.

Warthunder I get randomly obsessive and spend few weekends playing a stupid amount, then ditch it for a few weeks or months even. Like, I basically didn’t play at all almost for a whole month mid jan-february because I was busy with exams.

You said this

Note: To remind, if you won’t touch these vehicles after grinding, disable auto purchase and keep some money in your pockets.

I, among others, don’t research every mod in a tier before moving on. It is best to get the transmission/filters so your remaining mods are easier to get.

How about rent/mortgage?

I understand your point but it seems kind of excessive. Unless you are taking month long breaks, i dont think you are losing money on it.

I just buy the yearly amount every november for 50% off.

Mod is not a problem, crew is more painful since without the 1,120,000sl expert ground reloads/ air Gs are far worse

I understand that, but to me premium account is just an amazing value even if it’s not permanent due to it’s benefits. As I said, 40 euros over a 360 day period will basically be like throwing pocket change at Gaijin.

It was just an example of how even in real life they might charge you for something without you directly using it.

This is why I focus on total hours played rather on total days played.
