Maybe you can also ping @Gunjob as he was helpful in the ZTL11 turning radius saga.

do you forget the issue of KH29*4 on JH7A? thats why many of forum users hat Trick

Starting at 0:18 in the video, you can clearly see that the turret rotation is definitely as good as many other modern tanks, I’m just not sure if this video would be sufficient to prove that

Link to the official Pakistani X account that also posted the video

The turret seems to cover a larger than 90° arc in about 20 seconds which would back up the idea that it has around a 40° turret traverse speed per second

can anyone provide me with the original source of this document? It came from a Chinese video comparing the VT-4 to the South Korean K2 but all he showed in this video was this image and no link to the source of the original document, and I would really like to know as it would allow me to make a proper bug report on the turret handling of the VT-4

ive added a issue for DTC10-125 Gaijin.net // Issues
if gaijin dont buff it, after the 829A3 and 3BM59 coming to game, chinese will be lack of competitiveness, dont tell me France, they have new rounds

created two new bug reports for the VT-4 to buff both its armor and reload rate.

6.7 second reload for the VT-4 was passed to developers!!! China may finally heavy a non 7 second reload!

I’ll try to help as much as I can on this.
(Note that I use page number on a pdf file, not from the actual page in the document)

I think that’s the most of the controversial info on bug reports (?).
Also please correct me if I make any mistake in this post.

Currently on the dev server the VT-4 has 2 reverse gears, but dosnt gajjin effectively double the amount of gears a tank had irl for in game implementation? If it’s supposed to have 4 reverse gears in game I will make another bug report…

HE

HE Shell can also be equip with Radio proximity fuse for destroying helicopter as well.

p608

For tanks with torque converters.

Thanks a lot! Did the document mention the reverse speed? I saw someone on Chinese forum quoted this document and said the reverse speed is -17km/h. Just want to confirm.

Max gun Aiming speed

  • Semi-Automatic Mode: ≥15°/s maximum ≥9°/s
  • SFCS Mode: ≥15°/s maximum ≥9°/s
  • Stabilized Mode: ≥15°/s maximum ≥8°/s

Anyone knows how to interpret this part? I guess it means the vertical drive speed, but what is “≥15°/s maximum ≥9°/s”? Does this mean the vertical tranverse rate is 9-15°/s?

Unfortunately when I looked I only say it say it had 2 reverse gears and went 70kmh max speed, but no mention of the reverse speed, but it’s possible I missed something.

Can you find the person who is making the claim for the better reverse speed?

Unfortunately I believe there’s no mentioning about reverse speed in the manual.

I am unfamiliar with the technical details, but I saw some opinions that said Gaijin uses 2xgear numbers to simulate hydro-mechanical transmission, so maybe you can give it a try.

@soviet_MoonMan can to tell if this manual is confidential or allowed to be disclosed? someone in chinese forums are already said its a leak

I don’t think it’s a leak. Thailand’s VT-4 is a castrated version, not a top-of-the-line version.

It’s a manual within the Thai military, and at no point did the document sever say it was restricted. Plus technical moderators have already used it’s data now

You can find the official link to it on my bug reports, but they come from a Thai website
