VT4A1 - The well-defended battle wolf

its still C&P now

It’s not tho, it doesn’t have the same mobility as the MBT 2000 as is on the dev server, but rather a more powerful engine and worse transmission. The Transmission seems to be missing neutral steer at the very least tho.

How can it be accurate? Where are you getting this? The VT-4 was made to have a better transmission than the MBT-2000, and it’s from the CH1000 (B variant) family just like the ZTZ-99As with the same R1 R2 shifter. Why would it have half the reverse speed?

Especially considering it heavily borrows from the ZTZ-99A in service.

If you can find a source proving that it had a better transmission than currently in game please share it with us so we can use it in reports

Apperently someone has already found some sources for it, well see what happens

Same R1, R2 (because it’s same transmission family).

I was trying to say, that was the first dev.

Community Bug Reporting System currently there is a thread open with “info requested” on it so hopefully we can get the proper soruces to gajjin and if not open a new bug report with better sources

Sorry @SneedSellsFeed I just realized it was your thread lmao, I hope it gets approved and passed

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/NGW2BrTE2cB8

VT-4 spall liner was passed as suggestion

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/DjgfakCiT9vQ

Roof ERA was also passed it seems

I think we should also have evidence of 99A family -33 reverse speed prepared as well. Otherwise there is possibility of Gaijin nerfing 99A reverse speed to -16.5 instead of buffing VT-4

I’d go bananas.

You know with Gaijin, anything is possible. Similar incident happened on nerf of AFT09 turret tranverse speed

I assume VT-4B is just an alternative name? Or is it Gaijin making one up lol?

From the discussion in the VT series thread, VT-4B is next version being developed by Norinco. Features include “improved engine” (I guess 1500hp) and “Improved autoloader”. In other words VT-4B does not even exist yet.

ah, so the name is wrong then. anyone going to make a report for it?

somone alredy has, no reply yet from Gajjin tho

VT4B - incorrect name // Gaijin.net // Issues
It is currently the hottest issue actually

They are now requesting a source with an actual speed value, maybe you just need a source about the actual speed range of the transmission itself?

I couldn’t find a good source in English about the CH1000 transmission for China, but if someone can find a good reliable source for it, in any language, pls send it to @SneedSellsFeed

We need to prove it has a good reverse gear so anything that offer a specific speed range for the transmission is needed

Im sorry but what more can we prove???
The Transmission is called the CH1000B implying that it’s derived from the CH1000 already found ZTZ 99A but for some reason this insufficient evidence to prove that it should have gears.

@Smin1080p @Gunjob I’m sorry to ping you on this issue, but despite submitting multiple documents showing that the Transmission on the VT-4 is infact simply a variant of the CH1000 already found on the ZTZ-99A, Trickzzter calls this speculation and won’t accept it as evidence, meanwhile the VT-4 continues to have a 9mph reverse gear and I’m not really sure where gajjin grabbed this number from. Is there any way we could get someone else to look at this issue? What Trickzzter has asked for is the exact specific speed numbers of the CH1000 transmission even tho it’s already present in game on the ZTZ-99A, not to mention any document with this info is likely to be restricted
