Not sure about this one. Sadly Fields of Poland is not changed? The Map version that is the most flawed version?
I really wonder why they dont call it “change” instead of “improvement”… and toghether with “change” you could also make a “change” rotation that would introduce a new “mechanic” to get one or two per month on map redesign, would still take years to have a full map rotation but atleast the maps would change a bit every now and then… playing the same bad map design over and over again really gets boring. With that we would atleast see a regular change.

This is really good.
General graphical improvements are always nice, but, without updating the core, it ends up being just new coats of paint over old bases.
By updating vehicle models AND maps and map assets, the core is updated as well, this is perfect!
In a few years, War Thunder’s visual fidelity will be up to the latest standards across the board, at this rate.
You have nothing from fidelity if gameplay is suffering.
wow idk who gajin hired for art team but i never been that excited for update like this before these maps look so so beautiful i am glad i bought a pc so i can experiences these new nice looking maps i can’t wait for more maps reworks and hopefully all out dated tanks models and maps get a rework at one point but will done can’t wait for these maps !!

is there any chance of getting the bridges back on eastern Europe if not what’s the point of having all that map and just use half for gameplay not like realistic where they can cross the river to the other part

Are object hitboxes going to be more accurate now on these maps or is it is just cosmetic changes while invisible object borders will still eat shells?

Gaijin should not ignore optimisation issues, there are plenty of people playing on ulq.
Fps-killing bushes is a HUGE issue, ant it is being completely ignored for several years already.
It’s 2025, no excuses. I’m not entertaining any complaints about not being able to have a semi decent PC. Tired of the sweats trying to keep ulq around because they need that advantage over others. I’d rather we risk cutting off some legit poor people if it meant removing ulq.
