A fairly bland nothing-burger of a video.
On the one hand, if it’s going to be like AirSimu or Naval, then fine. AI planes crashing everywhere (it’s like War of the Worlds), poorly designed objectives, the same old maps, etc., etc.
Useless answers as always thanks
How they are useless?
I understand that you do not need to like the answers (for example, Devs got different PoV on things that you), but how that make the answers useless?
You watched whole Q&A and all you can say is “useless answers”? All of them? How?
at about 22:30 “collect player feedbacks on BR changes and re-discuss” - this seems to happen very seldom…
23:00 - “we carefully listen to the feedback on BR changes and take this into account”…
Yeah they arent that useless
it gives insight into the enigma of the dev team
like bvvds belief the P-47 is more potent cas in GRB than that of say the Rafale (at their respective BRs)
It really opens the eyes as to why the game is the way it is
Calling the answers useless might have been a bit of an overextension, but when he moves fault on players and sometimes even outright lying then its not really the best. There is literally no difference between the Clickbait and 12.7 abrams, and then he proceeds to say that high tier premiums should not have the same capabilities, or when asked about more game modes, then he responds by saying that players would move on to other games if they didn’t like it, which is just an unbelievable thing to say. Just shows that the game leadership does not really care about actual problems players have about the game
New clones - players want them.
New game modes - players don’t want them, they’re difficult.
An amazing view of the game.
I dont mind adding a vehicle to multiple trees but if thats the only addition to one tree its bad. every update should have at least a semi unique vehicle for each tree or a derivative of a unique vehicle (like a new Chieftain variant called the 900 for example to Britain)
TLDR:
- ARM’s probably in the first half of 2026.
- No indirect fire mechanics for artillery vehicles.
- No smoke artillery.
- White Rock Fortress is “in active development and might comeback before the end of the year.”
- Not planning on replacing ARB with ARB EC or mixing it into the normal matchmaking.
- Aerial Warfare mode in development.
- World War Mode development is slow.
- Planning on more test modes.
- Strat bombers are planned, not as meta additions but collector vehicles.
- More BR decompression.
- Working on submarines, no date set.
- No more map bans.
- No plans for heli PvP, no plans for making heli PvE better.
- Differential steering maybe? (But they reduce mobility so we might give a public test first.)
- You can use the map filter to get bigger maps if you want. Players prefer smaller maps with 1 team getting spawn trapped.
- Basement guy trapped.
And we had to wait over a month for that.
Because the responses either weren’t true (no counter evidence offered) like the 12.0 Premium vs. 12.7 top tier vehicle. Or HARMs arent useful despite being their inclusion in modern arsenals and loadouts today. Or they highlight a disconnect from devs and players. What system does Gaijin have that both Devs and Players can see regarding the 1.0 BR spread and queue time frustration besides the forums (I respectfully doubt devs visit this place frequently)?
It’s interesting to know what you expected from these questions. They were asked by the players themselves, and the most popular ones were answered
Dont forget he just straight up called us all bias for br changes
he is half true bc some people do think some things should be lower but then again you have things like the Buccaneers S.2B at a higher br than A-10A early and Su 25 early or the T72A and T64A at the same br
What was expected was answers that didn’t shift the blame onto the players.
Q: Any improvements for heli PvE mode?
A: No, its niche people don’t play it.
Q: Can we see bigger ground maps?
A: No, players like small maps where one team gets pushed all the way to their spawn.
Q: Can we have more map bans?
A: No, players already ban enough maps.
Kinda disappointed into hearing that they don’t prioritize ww2 era, considering the ww1, interwar and ww2 era of the game is far from “complete” the actual fun comes from the lower tiers, top tier is just so repetitive and tiring.
I do hope they do an update focusing on the ww1 to ww2 era, there are so but so many interesting vehicles missing, that really need to be added, and not only as 1 time events, because what about new players? So they completely just miss out on those vehicles? And if they want they have to buy them at the market place (if possible) that’s ridiculous…
Click bait outperforms half of the top tier MBTs anyway
This Q&A consolidated why I will end up quitting the game, they have no intention to make it anything but a shooter with tanks.
-No new game modes for tanks or air.
-Ever shrinking maps for top tier, because “instant action” = head on boring braindead gameplay
-HARMs making CAS stronger
-Events being “pointless tests” that go nowhere
-Regenerative steering somehow making the gameplay worse?
-They value fast-paced gameplay over anything strategic
I don’t know man, this just confirms all my suspicions about the leadership of the game devs, they don’t care about everything that’s wrong with the game.
Player base:
This gamemode is bad, its not fun, its buggy and the players with FnF just dominate. Therefore we dont want to play it. Can you fix it, make it better and/or add helis elsewhere like Air Sim so that we can play helis somewhere other than GRB?
devs:
Heli PvE is barely played so we dont see the reason to change it and we think GRB is good enough anyway
Maps aren’t actually getting smaller.
The whole idea is to keep players focused on fighting each other, so that they get all that action, instead of just spreading out all over the map, because that slows everything down.
Translation: We want to reduce the level of skill required for each map in order to keep low level clickbait, and UE1 players engaged and to feel like it’s a COD game.
As things stand now, the reality of tank battles at high levels is that most players prefer smaller maps and faster-paced matches
Does any top tier player actually prefer these small maps? If so, is it because large maps are poorly made?
if players were truly tired of the classic missions with one or three objectives, they’d have already stopped playing and switched to something else.
Riiight, it’s totally not like you have a monopoly on this type of genre…
Why add duplicate vehicles across nations instead of unique ones?
That’s a bit of a misconception. We don’t add such vehicles instead of unique ones — we add them alongside unique vehicles.
That is a purposely misleading answer and you know it.
Unique in your eyes is any vehicle that has a very slight modification. In the playerbase’s eyes, it is two or more vehicles that have near exact capabilities.
The 64E is a good recent example of that. Only V4.5+ or V6 can use the JAGMS. Both the Taiwanese and Japanese don’t operate any of those variants. I’ll give leeway to japan because they actually need something but China?
When they add the SepV3 and M1A2T, I won’t be surprised if they apply that same inconsistent compatibility standard (which was only meant for aircraft btw) and just give both tanks the same loadout and armor with minor tweaks.
From this entire video, all I heard is that “it’s not our fault, it’s what the playerbase wants”
It’s a cycle.
Ignore mode > less people play it >mode gets ignored because no one plays it > repeat.
The same thing happened with heli PvP, and fixing that would not have required a ton of effort.
