The Venoms in game were introduced as F-86A and Mig-15 Early counterparts:
Venom FB.4 is 8.7 BR (Air Realistic) (UK)
Sea Venom FAW.20 is 7.7 BR (Air Realistic) (UK)
Counterparts:
F-86A is 8.0 BR (Air Realistic) (USA)
Mig-15early is 8.0 BR (Air Realistic) (Russia)
Solution :
Venom FB.4 BR : 8.7 → 8.0 BR (Air Realistic) (U.K)
Vampire are as good as MD.450’s aircrafts
Yet the MD.450’s are 7.7 BR (Air Realistic) (France and Israel)
And:
Vampire F.B.5 : 8.0 BR (Air Realistic) (U.K)
Vampire FB.52A : 8.0 BR (Air Realistic) (italy)
Vampire FB.52A : 8.0 BR (Air Realistic) (Finland, Sweden subtree)
A28B : 8.0 BR (Air Realistic) (Sweden)
Solution:
Every Vampire BR change from 8.0 → 7.7 BR (Air Realistic)
Both changes should be done accordingly at the same time.

the fb.4 is about 100mph faster, turns quicker and climbs quicker
than what? you forgot to give comparison there mate.
You’re comparing it to the Sea Venom FAW.20
but i’m asking for the Venom FB.4 to be 8.0, and keeping the Sea Venom FAW.20 at 7.7.
there is a BR step in my proposal, which is argumented.

+1 to this. the old british top tiers have been made worthless from powercreep its just sad
comparing it to the fb.5 and fb 52a, they should not be the same br as the fb.4
Ain’t i getting all Vampires a 7.7, while making Venom to the BR of their Counterparts(F-86A and MiG-15early being 8.0)?
i proposed the whole Change,… not just 2 differents changes that could be done witout doing the other one,…
I just don’t thing the Fb.4 should move to 7.7 as it would then have equal speed to the f-86a while having superior mobility and guns at a lower br

F-86A retain energy much more energy than Venom does,… 2 turns and Venom is stuck in the air.
the .50Cals are fine guns, and would be enough.
the Venom doesn’t have the F-86A acceleration.

I remember playing the vampire when it was 7.3 and I had a blast, haven’t touched it since really. Can’t say if it was busted or not as I wasn’t good at flying jets at the time haha

I spaded both the vampires in the Swedish tree when they were already 8.0.
Let me tell you it sucks. Pretty much any match even in downtiers you will be the slowest jet around. It does well in a dogfight but when nobody wants to dogfight you you cannot do anything since you are unable to catch enemies.
