I think the 80/60 VCC in 9.3 is a little too high in terms of BR; I’m not the only one saying it, just look at the big content creators who say it. A BR of 9.0 would be suitable for good balance.
nah its pretty good
has a very high skill ceiling
idk why so many people diss the vcc80/60 its pretty goated
It’s hilariously good at 9.3. 2 second reload, great pen, thermals, good mobility…
but muh pen
who cares bro you can still kill anything
Yes, the VCC/8060 is good in 9.3, but it’s not accessible to all players given its M300 shell which does very little damage, so you need to be able to aim well. Furthermore, when you’re up against BR 10.3, it might be a bit too much, which is why I thought of 9.0. And yeah 2 sec it’s good but not incredible
it’s me or the vcc 80/60 like a goofy hstvl
It needs its autoloader ammorack replenishment speed to be increased as it’s ridiculously slow.
The rat
You want it higher in BR?
The problem for me isn’t really the reload, it’s more the very limited number of shells. We only have 32, which makes no sense when you see all the empty space on the tank near the turret.
Lower the caliber, the lower the damage is. You can’t increase it artificially which I would agree that in most instances APDS-FS feels very underpowered when it comes to post-pen damage specially with 76 mm APDS-FS (e.g. M41D, Rooikat Mk.1D and OTOMATIC) in non automatic loaded unlike VCC-80/60.
Going to face battle rating 10.3 vehicles is a consequence every vehicle has to deal with in the battle rating ±1.0 matchmaking system, this is no argument. VCC-80/60 is a very reliable vehicle, although it’s just a lower battle rating HSTV-L, you’ll need to learn ammo management to not need to go all the way back to an allied zone to replenish ammo.
Idk, it doesn’t have detailed internal model. Also iirc one of the reasons for slow replenishment speed explained by Bluebeta historical consultant was a hard access to ammo rack in the turret.
I know that 1.0 + BR is inevitable and that you have to avoid wasting your shots, but 32 shells go by too quickly, even if you aim well. It’s even worse if you use HE-VT; that leaves you with even fewer flechette shells. Furthermore, some tanks with 10.3 can be very difficult to kill. Believe me, I know what I’m talking about, since I’ve actually played the tank, unlike you.
Only Challenger Mk.2, T-72B (1989) and T-64B I consider problematics when comes to the performance of the VCC-80/60 but not even that stops it to pack-up almost positive kill/death ratio, not impressive but the increase is noticeable and positive according to StatShark data in January 2026:
Unlike myself or whatever, as much as you think VCC-80/60 is bad for some reason, the only issue is the APDS-FS post-pen damage which can be easily dealt with the fast firing cannon, unlike others I’ve mentioned: M41D and Rooikat Mk.1D that relies in a human loader for such task and even that don’t have good post-pen damage as well. HE-VT is pretty useful and even that it can take space for more APDS-FS shots, maximum of 6 shells is enough.
