The Valentine XI behaves like a heavy tank at its current BR and BR 2.7, despite being classified as a medium tank. Please upgrade it to BR 3.0.
Note the inconsistency in the vehicle balance: it has the same BR 2.7, but the Valentine XI has armor that makes it untouchable. Not to mention that it has a shell capable of penetrating anything at its current BR, while the Italian M15… well, the picture speaks for itself.
The “Valentine XI” is the same as the “Valentine IX” tank, so it makes no sense to keep the “Valentine XI” at a lower BR than the “Valentine IX.” Please upgrade it to the same BR to balance the game.
I don’t think using a weak italian tank is a great comparison, it doesn’t even have 60mm of pen, so putting that on the protection analysis means nothing. Also, u have to take into account mobility and the Valentine’s lack of aphe, also, Britain doesnt need another nerf
It’s not a nerf, it’s just balancing. Accept it because it’s necessary for a balanced game.
Furthermore, as I said before, the Valentine XI and Valentine IX are exactly the same tank. The only reason British players want the Valentine XI is for its low BR and to get easy victories.
The Valentine XI isnt the same as the IX. The IX has the 75mm while the IX has the 6 pounder, which is a much better gun for tank combat. Especially since they both have only solid shot. I think this is more an argument that the M15/42 should go down in br.
What about the Matilda? That is also at 2.7 and has even more armour. Do you think that should go up to 3.0 too?
This isn’t the first time Gaijin has done something nonsensical… But this still doesn’t solve the problem…
In my opinion, there are two possible paths to take:
Make the Valentine XI a heavy tank and remove its ability to call in artillery.
Or make the Valentine XI a medium tank, but raise it to BR 3.0 along with its twin, the Valentine IX, so the British have two identical vehicles they can use in the same BR.
All medium tanks at BR 2.7 have a maximum frontal armour thickness of 50 mm, while the Valentine XI has frontal armour of 60 mm or more (not counting the turret, which is even thicker due to its angle), effectively making it a ‘heavy tank’ at its current BR despite being a ‘medium tank’. So I see nothing wrong with placing it correctly at BR 3.0. This way, it can perform its function as a medium tank and not a heavy tank.
Gaijin did the same thing with the 75/32 M42 and 75/34m42. They are similar vehicles, but not identical. The 75/32 M42 is slower and has slightly less penetration than the 75/34m42, but they are at the same BR… So if this applies to Italy, it must also apply to all other nations, including the British.
Dude… The picture I posted speaks for itself (are you blind by any chance?), avoid writing nonsense just because you’re afraid of losing a vehicle for your easy victories… Also, you shouldn’t use monkey brains that get killed stupidly as a standard… The Valentine XI at its current BR behaves like a heavy tank despite being classified as a medium tank, there’s no point in denying it since I posted a picture that proves it… So as I already said:
Make the Valentine XI a heavy tank and remove its ability to call in artillery.
Or maintain the Valentine XI a medium tank, but raise it to BR 3.0 along with its twin, the Valentine IX, so the British have two identical vehicles they can use in the same BR.
1: the 57 is much better than the 75. The worse tank probably shouldnt be the same br as the better one.
2: it being labeled a medium doesnt mean it has to fit a certain list. The m6 is a heavy but has bad armor. Tds have great armor and paper armor, great guns and bad guns, turrets or no turrets, speed or no speed.
3: you are allowed to engage it from a better position than “dead front at 500m”.
You show us one of the WORST low-tier tanks compared to a decent tank. WHY? Can you not compare something much more normal instead of comparing a decent tank to absolute rubbish…? Ok, well… it’s normal in my opinion. Just because it’s heavier armour and you have a problem in 1 tank that can’t pen it means you have to move it to 3.0. We ain’t gonna increase it BR just because a few tanks can’t pen it.
It your problem for using an rubbish pebble shooter shooting an normal tank. You should had bring an average tank to compare it.
