Exactly, My T series survives countless time thanks to autoloader’s absorbing ability, not to mention their tanks are not as bad as people claims.
Not gonna even talk about SU34, that thing is broken in terms of pure CAS power.

Let’s not mention how the ERA perform so good and it’s like a black hole, B…b…but 4km reverse speed.
And that only occurs on T72-T90 models.
T80’s has 11km reverse speed which is not great but not terrible.
Best part about those ERA’s are they love absorbing autocannon fires and not explode.
Past days i was spading my PUMA VJTF and CV90 MK IV and let me tell ya, those ERA’s were just straight absorbing my shells without even exploding.
I do believe that USSR has really good tech. But what about the narrative that it dominates top tier? It can’t be true though. With my own eyes for the past two weeks I see super bad matches where people do not understand the basic principles of capturing the point. Spawn → rush towards enemy spawn → die → leave. And it is not only premium players, 100 lvl “I hate wallet warriors” do it also.
So is it false narrative of USSR dominating top tier?
I don’t know if the guy still typing or just gave up.
If i see a Russia tank and i’m playing with a light tank i literally just give up and run away, it’s pointless to shoot, launch few SPIKES and drop smoke then drive away, but hold on try to shoot a single dart on the Abrams turret ring using an auto cannon, muh Abrooms is the best tank better than 2A7.
Im just bullying Abrams in my light vehicles, its so easy to disable them even with 30mm autocannon thanks to giant turret ring weakness.
Crazy how that’s fine and having all the perks i mentioned before is “Time Consuming” and “Worthless”.
I guess he’s just trying to get rid of the competition.
I believe main reason he thinks Russia is worthless and time consuming its because he doesnt have access to helicopters/planes and it was also his first tech tree.
Ground Line-up can be only judged by complete perks, which means air units should be included as well.
The USA mains will come here soon, and they will tell you that you are ignorant and that the Russians have 80%+ win rate.
Having the “best” tools doesn’t means having the best experience, as the poster mentioned, and from what I could understand he means this: bad players, which I conclude meaning bad experience.
Regarding the ground vehicles specifically, it seems very good, retreating at 4 km/h and the worst gun handling for tanks. I never had best experience with these two aspects of majority of USSR vehicles.
Yes if you shoot the upper glacis and the turret cheeks, is the second best armor, because this is where the best part of the armor is,
The Ka-52, most obvious subject are in the end of the line, where good tools should be, but, the T-80BVM is terrible regarding protection compared to T-90M, the fuel tank is equivalent to a explosive, as most other USSR vehicles and some Chinese too have this issue of easily being destroyed because of the fuel tank explosion, T-90M mobility and reload time is also limiting.
The best CAS at the end of line, composed of 2 vehicles. Now compare this to any other Western nation, they have better CAS accessibility at lower BR. If you mean “Ugh, but the Kh-38 […]” or something like that, not everyone has access to it.
USSR also doesn’t have “the best SPAA in almost every BR”, it’s just way too numerous, doesn’t mean efficiency, it only starts to be decent by 8.0, but not that good, ZSU-23-4 is awful at medium distances due to the projectile velocity and worst IRST between anti-air guns with search and lock radar, the Pantisir-S1 is also not this good people think it’s, not only being the primary target for CAS, nowadays is not enough to counter CAS.
In summary I don’t recommend playing USSR, there are plenty of other nations which will give you better experience in most BRs, currently for top to mid tier Japan is a good option, for low to mid tier I recommend France, China has some good vehicles that can outstand some of theirs in its BR range, specially the 8.0 range, Germany and Sweden holds the best top tier MBT with good mobility, armor and gun handling.
@Sug Madic2 and what kind of competition are there? The most players choose USSR the best because I wouldn’t want to play other minor nations like Japan with really good vehicles like the Type 10 and Type 90 against newbie players with less experience brainwashed by Content Creators that state USSR is the best nation to grind.
In this regard I’m thankful to anyone that manipulate those to play USSR, have a bad experience while I do around 5 to 7 kills, not every time obviously, in the Type 90 or TKX (P) at down tiers, or the blatantly lower BR Type 93 equipped in the Type 74 at 9.0 ammunition with similar performance to DM 23 ammunition.
My suggestion is, don’t play USSR wanting good experience, player or vehicles. I’ve had some terrible, bought T-72AV (Turms-T) about 2 to 3 years ago and I couldn’t finish the entirety of the tech tree because this one should be considered a scam, such bad vehicle, had to buy the 2S38 to finish the tech tree.
My grind in Japan is missing 4 of the last vehicles to finish the entirety of the tech tree and I can’t complain about it, and now I’m halfway on France with actually good matches and I can’t wait to get AMX-56 Leclerc, with decent to good mobility and gun handling compared to the vehicles in USSR.
As a total top tier tech tree, yeah.
Which means either you’re doing something wrong or your team does, in this case same principle can be applied to any nation.
-4km only occurs on t72/90 series, T80’s doesnt suffer from same issues.
Also T72B3/90M and T80BVM has one of the best gun handlings, dont know where you getting your information. Their problem is gun depression which can be mitigated by taking better suited position for yourself easily.
Same goes for other tanks as well, Russian tanks arent the only one who suffers from driver port or lower plate.
Its quite good, your claims has nothing to do with reality.
Oh you mean fuel tanks that absorb shells when they want to?
T90M mobility is actually more than enough, as for the reload you have to be more careful when circling around with T90M.
No one ever claimed that, you should learn how to read properly.
Try not to speak about nations you dont play, currently you only have proper experience with Russia,Japan while you dont have proper experience with other nations.
Bro here think USSR are worthless waste of times and suffering
Completely forget Britain/Israel exist
Best CAS? Yes at toptier. But 5.3-9.7 USSR didnt have any CAS planes.
And all nation sucks coz newbie premiums.
Stop crying at every topic.
After skilless RU main stop posting how they suffering (when they are not) on daily buddy
How are people having issues killing russian mbts?
Russia isnt bad but it does tend to be overhyped.
Indeed, sometimes I question my play style but when I check the leaderboard I see a T-80UD player in level 8, it’s frustrating, because, using this vehicle as example, not having the best mobility to leave certain positions require the player huge adaptation to the sluggish mobility compared to things like the Leopard 2A4 (PzBtl 123) or the M1 KVT, which requires mostly knowledge of the player to shoot curtains spots,
And regarding the reverse speed of 4 km/h on the T-72 platform to the T-80 platform, 4 km/h to 11 km/h is not much difference in practical terms when the competition have 20 km/h to 30 km/h. In some cases even more on vehicles with transmission like the Begleitpanzer 57 has, making the vehicle reach the same forward speed at reverse gear.
The good gun handling is only available on the T-90M making this the single Russian vehicle, out of 2, comparable to the gun handling in most late Western MBTs with the same ~40°/s in gun elevation and depression, and turret horizontal control, the rest are limited to ~32°/s only in horizontal, keeping the 4°/s in the gun elevation and depression, example are the 2S25M.
Could you at least say what it’s?
“Oh you mean absorb” what? Absorb my anger and frustrating when I see “Fuel tank exploded” in my screen, the only top tier USSR vehicle that doesn’t have this issue is the T-90M because the fuel tank is sealed.
Regarding the T-90M, despite the mobility and gun reload time, I have more preferences for it over the T-80BVM, the mobility is indeed limiting but I prefer the slow kind of gameplay.
Then my problem is not facing those vehicles, the few times I saw these in the enemy team, were quickly shoot down.
I may be blind or I have some sort of mental illness, but what’s written in this quote?
In fact, but am I wrong? At 10.3 USA already has a premium CAS, same does USSR but doesn’t have access to TV guided missile, meaning it has to be at shorter ranges, At 7.7 France has the best ground lineup with the best cannons and armor in the same vehicle you can find, examples is the AMX-50 Surbaissé and the AMX-50 Foch, at 9.0 Japan have the best vehicles in this BR range, like the Type 89 and Type 74, at 8.7 to 9.3 Germany holds one of the best vehicles at its BR range, examples are the Begleitpanzer 57 and Leopard A1A1 with good weapon and versatility, at 6.7 USA holds the best lineup either in ground and air with easier accessible CAS. USSR only starts to be competitive at 8.7.
If you check the modern armor simulator ground battles rotation queue, you can see why I say USSR is a bad nation to put time and effort on, sometimes I see 10 players wanting to play using a Western vehicles and 4 players in the other side, with T-64A (1971) as best vehicle to play, it seems to be, either people playing are doing it wrong, or it means that, not only me, but other people also see USSR as worth.
Ask this guy: ARK_BOI
It’s bad because players are not fighting barely armed men in the middle east.
