Only in quantity. In terms of quality. The US is usually behind the curve. Most other nations are well ahead in terms of tech on a 1 to 1 matching. The US’s strength comes from the fact they can send 10-20 tanks, aircraft, ships, whatever to take on most other nations, so its rarely 1v1 but more like 20v1
But the Typhoon, Rafale and Gripen E are way more advanced and capable than any US Gen 4 aircraft. Perticularly with available missiles. I’ll take ASRAAM and Meteor over Aim-9X and Aim-120D any day of the week.
Tanks like the Leopard 2, Challenger 3, etc are more advanced than the Abrams
and in terms of WW2 for naval. The USN doesnt really hold much of candle to the RN

To be fair, if we went time based instead of balance, the US would probably be ahead of every other nation. when other nations were starting to just field their 4.5 gens for example, US had the f-22 already. or mig 23 vs f-14. or phantom vs mig 21. it’s usually US fielding the tech first

The only WW2 US ship that I cant one shot with a WW1 British battleship is Iowa and I will quite happily 1v1 an Iowa in the Vanguard
yeah ingame they are all screwed over, IRL USN stomped the Japanese, had most sucessful sub campaign of the war too, all with faulty torpedos

And when the RN turned up in the pacifica theatre to help. The USN sent the RN on some of the most dangerous missions because our carriers couldnt be take out anywhere near as easily.
Most of the US victory in the pacifica came for the victory at Midway using airpower, and even then, the US got lucky.
Wasnt worse. It was economics. They had like 30k Aim-9Ms and decided it was cheaper to slap TVC and a new seeker on the Aim-9M than replace them.
