Eh… They are way less behind than Sweden and Britain were when they got the F-16 and then F-16C.
F-15E is fine, just requires skill.
The moment the F-15C was added, the only reasonable counter for the European nations was the Delta Canards. Sweden has yet to even get theirs. F-15E sealed the deal.

fix 120C-5 and add APG-63v3 F-15C and that would help a lot, good scan volume and constant TWS update would pair really well with a fixed 120C imo, whatever it takes to stay out of MICA and R-77-1 range

Gripen C is a modern delta canard
aim 120a/c should already have seekerhead similar to what’s already found on mica, it’s been accepted for well over a year now, but seems like gaijin is deciding against buffing the 120a. I think either gunmod or flame has quite a few reports on it
Which is one of the weakest 13.7s in game at the moment. I was talking about the Gripen E. Its their counter to the F-15E.

No it isn’t Thats like saying the F-4 was made to compete with the Typhoon. Its no where close. Its on par with the T2/T3 Typhoon and Rafale F3. Which we already have in game. It was made as a more economical euro-canard.

The moment the US gets the F-22. Everyone else gets the F-35, J-20, Su-57, etc.
The US wont be operating in a vacuum with the only Gen 5, and Gen 5 has been denied to be coming anytime soon. If Gen 5 gets added at all. I know people think the US should be OP because “MERICA!” but thats not how it works in War Thunder.
So for now you are limited to Gen 4 for everyone and in that regard… the US never built a Typhoon, Rafale, Gripen E equivalent bar the F-15 which is a missile truck. Which is alreayd in game and perfectly competitive.
Quite Frankly, the US could go without anything for the next 2 major updates and they’d still remain perfectly competitive at top tier. Its Sweden, Japan and China that dont even have a counter to the F-15E yet are the priority
In terms of ground. Britain, Italy and France still need something that is even half as good as the SLAMRAAM.

There was only the Palembang raids, which iirc the crew of HMS KGV did it’s best job to try and sabotage. The rest of the British Pacific Fleets actions I can only honestly describe as: “Hello, we’re here too!”, taking part in most major battles mid '44 onwards as part of the USNs Fleet.

F-22 was so far ahead of Eurofighter that it isn’t even funny. It also is entered service sooner.
