Sorry for kind of spamming the thread but bleh…)
Im on console and use ”streamable” its a free website that u can upload clips and share links, no need to sign in or anything, and they’re way better quality
Duly noted.
i dont understand, you sent videos of hammer not of penguin?
It was hammer we were discussing.
I was talking about AASM-250 SBU-64?
Thanks :)
and that always had the basic IR seeker of ~~12km? 1.5km was the dev version of penguin which later got switched with the minradius new engine mechanic for seeker
counter example
the KH38MT was marketed for the same target types as AGM-154C
and there is obviously no evidence that its seeker is capable of locking tanks as there is no evidence that the seeker exists
Well there is no proof that the KH38MT can only engage naval and static land targets. Of course there is also no proof in general what it can or can’t engage since it doesn’t exist but that’s just a minor detail. /s

“Stationary Land & Maritime Moving Targets” seems pretty word for word to me.
(For those curious, the “Maritime Moving Targets” part was added w/ C-1, the original C likely can’t hit any sort of moving targets but I’m not that knowledgable)
(Mb I didn’t see the /s)
Im talking about the KH38MT. I can read what the JSOW can engage. I was just poking fun at the ridiculousness that the KH38MT can engage tanks in game simply because there is 0 information about it.
This is how Kh-38MT should work btw. Pilots can’t see anything; they just fire and hope it targets the thing they hoped to hit. Gaijin completely made this super weapon up. So an IR AGM-154 should not be impossible to add at this point.
allegedly
It can lock tanks but from ~1.5km, not ~13km like in the game.
AASM too
As far as I know I’m not even sure about that? The seeker uses photo-matching once it reaches it’s 1.5km terminal range and turns on the IR seeker, since they’re obviously intended for static targets…
Call it a hunch but I’d be skeptical if it even could track moving targets then, if at all since that’s what SBU-54 is advertised for.
According to Gunjob, Hammer can definitely track a tank sized target. Tracking moving targets might be a stretch though, especially against faster moving ones.
I see I see, interesting.
