USA needs AGM-154C with IR not the GNSS version!

The GNSS version is DOA why even bother with it? Give USA the IR version!!

the IR versioin is anti ship weapon, it wont lock tanks

Based on what?

fastest? from navy.mil article

The latest variant, the JSOW AGM-154C-1, is the Navy’s first air-to-ground Network-Enabled Weapon (NEW) capable of attacking stationary land and moving maritime targets. It includes GPS/INS guidance, terminal IR seeker and a Link 16 weapon data link. Integration of the Link-16 weapon data link and updated seeker software algorithms provide a capability against at-sea moving/relocatable targets.

if you have any other sources that it can track small targets please share

So we can say the same about the new missile the Chinese got???

No need for “whataboutism”. If you have public sources that show that something is modeled incorrectly then show those sources and make a bug report on the bug report site.

I was just using it as an example…

I’m pretty sure only F/A-18C/E can get it

It’s pointless. USA ain’t getting any good F&F rockets. I did the right choice by stopping my grind for their air tech tree. Just stop playing USA altogether.

unguided rockets are already F&F

I meant ones with IR tracking.

tbh it will likely get the ir seeker because we also got the penguin missile used for ground attacks.

even if the seeker is not good irl, t can be added since gaijin added the aasm 250 who irl have a 2km lock range limit

its literally what i sent and what you sent clearly tells you that it can only target moving seaborne targets

My guy the IR AASM can’t lock tanks IRL and it can it game i think this will in game

the C base has a bunker buster warhead so idk how good it would be… and i didnt even know there was a anti ship version.

Your claim was it could only hit naval targets btw.

And i don’t see how it wouldnt be able to hit moving targets as it’s literally got an ir seeker.

can you not purposefully lie literally 5 posts down from what i wrote? C’s IR seeker is for anti ship

The IR seeker is terminal, its guided by GPS from the beginning to just about to contact the target. Navy uses it mainly for fixed points on the map like factories and such. The AGM-154B is the one you guys are asking for as it has the infrared sensors for tanks. And the AGM-154C-1 is the one that can target ships btw
