It can fit an R27R/T/ER/ET on the same rail. ET being an IR aam. Thus it should be able to fit it.
But regardless if the a-10c and the Su-39 stay the same br, and the A-10C doesn’t become a 12.0… then the Su-39 should get some sort of buff.

well, theres joke - A-10C doesn have a chance in fight against Su-39, but in random(due of dumb ppl) A-10C might be better

Me and him kept sparing, thanks to the x480 cms, and 4x irccm aams, he would usually force me to run with me unable to do much.
The cockpit is also easier to see out of.
That’s being said, the A-10C has plenty of pros (especially pingless iff) to be a 12.0 and it’s not.
It also gets a MAW at 11.7 with one of the best turn rates in game.
And I really never saw a reason why the Su-25SM3 is 12.3

firstly - you need to find a target, due of TGP limitations that might be a problem

Su-39 doesn’t have any photos of the R27T or ET, but it does have R-77, R-27R/ER, and R-73 / R-73E on it. Along with Kh 31, X-58 and the like.
But if the R-77 and R-73 take the same pylon as is, I am lead to believe an R-73 could be mounted on the R-27 pylon.

Game has render limitations to N km, probably like 14km
it’s like A6M2, it will kill you if going BFM, but barely usefull in all other cases

Sounds like gaijin should give it either R-77s or R-27s then. Trade off being you lose R-73s to get R-77s
And you lose Vikhirs to get R-27s.
In either case you lost your stealth capabilities unless you use the R-60, but R-60s are so bad now.
Which seemed to be their intent to add the R-27 as it has the radar pod necessary.
Would also be nice to get thermal pod for the Su-39

Yeah but that’s the same for the Gripen.
I carry 5/1 Aim120/9M on the F16 when the Gripen is more 4/2, but honestly the Gripen with Rb99 is better IMO at the same BR. F16C is solidly meh. I’m not sure I’d even put it above the Su-27SM right now, besides the better missiles obviously. The low CM counts is quite brutal, at least soviet plane uses large CMs.

What are you talking about? You click SPoI onto ground targets and you don’t have to worry about searching with the targeting pod.

You just follow RWR pings and loiter near points where planes will have to fly.
Also there is shared spotting in SB so render distances are effectively further than 11km.

what if enemy fly without radar?
sure, sometimes enemy will find you and die after that, but what if it is smart enough?
If they fly without radar then they also have to get close enough to engage me with an IR missile…which MAWS will alert me…or they will have to enter gunfight which A-10 is very strong at.
The vast majority of my deaths in A-10C are from SPAA from before the GBU-39 was added to them. Even good players in meta fighters will struggle in match with competent A-10 because they have to worry about me getting within 4-8km of them and Aim-9M is basically a nuclear landmine for most planes on 10.7-11.7 days.
If I play A-10C on those days I will lead my team in player kills and in ground targets destroyed.

MAWS has blind spots.
Also, nothing limits to gunkill you, but not dogfight
players in metafighters doesnt know how to kill A-10 then.
The blind spot is basically directly on top and directly below.
In order to gun kill A-10C…you have to get in gun range. Which means you have to get in missile range. And also get in it’s gun range as well.
I have went up against some of the most experienced sim players with my A-10s and have came out on top. So just make sure that you include yourself in that category when it comes to playing something like MiG-21 against A-10.

well, why would you need to go directly on A-10?
they just not ready to fight against smth that isnt a F-5 for example, for a lot of time that wasnt hard to play soviet side at such BRs
and, still, a lot of random players just going in dogfight with A-10
