you do realize that the higher you go the easier it is to reach high mach right? the mig 31 isn’t doing mach 3.2 at ground level and its actualy top speed is mach 2.8 any higher and its own engine starts to destroy itself. Speed is important. as most air frames aren’t made to go that fast. especially older models.

You do realize that military is also about money, not only performance? Russia was able to produce 500+ Mig-31 that fly high and fast. If it is so simple why USA does not have serial plane like this?

The reality is that NATO is not a sovereign state, and in War Thunder, there’s no country called NATO, so should NATO countries’ weapons in the game also be added to the U.S. tech tree?
