What are some of the best rank 2 and 3 aircraft for the usa?

Honestly this is just my opinion so it may not work for you but here:
P-39 Rank II
A-36 Rank II
P-63 Rank III
F8F-1 Rank III
P-61c Rank III
These would be my picks depending on what I feel like, the P-39/P-63s are my dedicated dogfighters due to their good ability to do horizontal turn fights. The A-36 is a great seal clubber if you unlock gun-pods and its pretty mean without them.
The F8F is EXTREMELY and I cannot state this enough, EXTREMELY under-tiered and under-appreciated simply because it has four 50cals. It has a 5.7/6.0 flight model at 5.0 is is very powerful at this BR. You just need to be patient with the guns. The P-61c is just fun to play all around whether you gunship with the 50cal turret in air Rb while strafing bombers or just outright using the guns and bombs in ground battles.

Thanks man, the us tech tree is so long the us itself will design jets that can go to space and i will still be on rank 6
A36 at rank 2 is very op it got 2 500lb bombs for CAS (Close Air Support)
for rank 3 P-63 is a solid choice it is manuverable and comes with a woping 3 500lb bombs which can get u 3kills+ in CAS

p-40f for rank 3 is really good
I am biased, but I love the Aircobras. So funny blasting planes out of the sky with one shot.
