American air tech tree is in a very wierd state right now, where every air rb match they have the best planes in every role, be it bvr, dogfights or missle busses, while other nations either dont have the variety, or access to the missles that usa has.
This ability to stomp is already seen in top tier Sim battles, where usa is by far the best nation, however is not as visible in air rb due to it being matched with other nations and present in both teams in basically any game
What i want gaijin to do ? Stop artificially nerfing every single opposition that USA has in top tier air and give swedish its deserved grippen flight model without the artifically given nerfs to "balance " it, give the eurofighter a good radar which doesnt just lock air 50 percent of the time and fix the r77 and the chinese version of it drag values, (which are shown in another bug report) to let those nations have better counterplay against usa
They were fixed in 2024.
The exclusive thing left on Mig-29s and Su-27s is RD-33s consume too much fuel on dry thrust.
Mig-29 9.13, G, and 9.12 all perform as well as F-16C.
F-15E and Mig-29SMT share the same energy retention at high speeds.
Su-27SM is among the best dogfighters in the game while being as fast as an F-15C in acceleration, top speed, and time to climb.
I mean eurofighter radar was not fixed also the r77s drag being overinflated is still not fixed ? The su27 is a terrible dog fighter I will beat you in my eurofighter or grippen 8/10 times and it won’t be even close
Rate of climb is useless on su27 since you csnnot bvr in it since the radar is a 12.3 level radar and is complete ass and r77 range is laughable
Grippen fp is still artificially nerfed and it’s canards are still performing worse then in any documents or real life
The Su-27SM is no more terrible at dogfighting than the F-14B or F-16C.
Gripen flight performance has never been artificially nerfed and has never performed worse than documents. Gripen when first introduced over-performed vs official documentation.
Best missiles? Shared by most nations at this point.
Best bvr? I’m pretty sure this goes to rafale right? it has the best radar as I read it.
Best dog fighter? Definitely the rafale or eurofighter as I understand it.
Best CAS? Rafale or Su34
I don’t have all of these planes, but I listen to the people who do. Just about every content creator I watch says just rafale and EF are the best planes at top tier right now.
Also I find it a bit funny since it’s a mixed match maker, you have them on both sides. Which seems pretty equal to me. Unlike GRB where where Sweden and Germany get to stomp in their OP tanks unopposed by anyone.
As I said though I don’t have these birds so my opinion is based on watching and reading of those that do.
That’s all I needed to hear to not care about the copage any further.
And before you call me a toxic bastard, let me explain a thing you may have not heard before:
Top tier is a “lab rat” for them to see how much hype a new plane can generate and how much they can stretch the other nations’ a**holes at the same time.
the one place it hasnt got the best is in dogfighter, that’s a close one between the Japanese Mitsubishi zeros and British Supermarine Spitfires. The USA has got one of both but not quite the best versions of either
That doesn’t mean they don’t have a strong line up , in fact they have the best Jet lineup for multi role fighter. Bringing up one jet to say “They are not the best anymore” is irrelevant
F15C/F16C/F15E ? What other nation have a line up as strong as these ? Not even the russian with their chubby Su34 can match. Let alone minor and Ger (which they desperately need the EF) Brtit and France for getting a single new jet ?
