Lmao I would’ve typed in chat we were in the same match, but I told a USA main to un-install for letting me die so he could get a kill In grb, so I’m com banned for 30 days even thou he threatened to come to my house and stab me, yet gaijin only com banned me.
TL;DR, nice flying. But yeah those aim 9ms are way too OP on that, I took a few vids, nothing spectacular, but trying to keep up with another good pilot, while being 2v7 and in the Su-39 was very difficult.
R-73s both missed here:
The first time you killed me, I don’t know if you saw, but I fired all 4 aams at an after burning F-4 which was in the best possible position for me, they all magically missed.
Idk if I clipped that, but if I did I’ll upload it.
I got you 3 times, out of your 4 deaths, 2 aams while pretty much touching you, they were R-73s because the R-60s got flared only 0.8 km out, my other kill was a gun run, but overall you got me with 2 gun runs, and I think 4 aam kills. Somehow one of your aim-9ms Almost got me rear aspect in the Su-39, but i flared and happened to move which saved me.
If was able to see out of the cockpit, it would’ve been way better
@UnknownDistance
It isn’t. It isn’t fair for flareless jets to face in the case of A-10As
9M’s don’t have IOG, like I said they’re exact same as 9L but with IRCCM and motor is smokeless.

It has INS, which is essentially the same as IOG.

Source? It doesn’t say anywhere in-game or in datamine spreadsheets. As far as I know only the radar missiles and atgms have IOG as a feature in game.
That’s just the IRCM feature

But it’s still INS, which is just IOG with a different name.
It’s not guided by magic when the seeker is closed.

IOG: The R27ER loses lock but maintains what it believes to be the same course that will intercept the enemy plane at some point either by proxy or by re-lock
INS: The AIM-9M drops lock on purpose when it detects a flare but maintains what it believes to be the same course that will intercept the enemy plane at some point either by proxy or by re-lock.
Are you seeing it now

So is it decided that the A-10C is too good for 11.3? And should be moved to 12.0?
Nope.
It’s perfectly balanced.

Cons: It’s slow.
Pros: Everything else it has is better than anything at its BR.
Not very balanced.

Agreed. But hey if speed is the biggest factor here, the Su-25T should be a 9.7 right?
@UnknownDistance
(I know you were talking sarcastically lol I watched you wipe my whole team one match, and the only person who really could put up a good fight was me until I was getting 2v1’d)

The whole “but it’s slow” argument doesn’t make a whole lot of sense because you can pick and choose any planes that are “slow” but still are the best for their BRs.
Take the JF-17 for example, it’s slower than a lot of other aircraft at its BR but is the best 13.3 fighter.

Ground attackers need to be the best pseudo-fighters at their BR.
This is perfectly logical and anyone that thinks otherwise is just coping.
(A-10C at 11.3 just creates another BR range that is unplayable for USSR mains that aren’t also flying under-tiered ground attackers as pseudo-fighters)

I mean I’d like 4 R-73s too lol
