The A-10 also has a very noticeable lack of thrust meaning it has 0 climb or acceleration.
Unfortunately I don’t play attackers outside of CAS in ground.
Did you not read? You quoted it too. You thought that airspeed doesn’t matter for missile range for some reason, then I corrected you. That’s off topic? The whole entire thing was in response to you not understanding basic physics.
Then I mentioned the A-10 in RB because you said “Thank you for the info. You’ve also just proven indeed the Su-39, and Su25T / SM3 are in a far worse position than I have feared” to give insight that the A-10 is slower than the Su-25 and it massively affects its missile’s range negatively hence why I believe in ARB it would be fine to move up to 11.7 but not 12.0.
The A-10 also has a very noticeable lack of thrust meaning it has 0 climb or acceleration.
Unfortunately I don’t play attackers outside of CAS in ground.
I’ve been talking about sim the whole time.
Lack of thrust? Seems to fly just fine unless your carrying a full load
“Unfortunately I don’t play attackers outside of CAS in ground.“ @Axzuel
You just outted yourself, you have no experience in how these operate in Air SIM. Unless you care to add something is regards to AIR SIM. I suggest you leave.
And lastly, air sim definitely plays differently than Air RB.
AN/ALR-45(V) according to you is same bad as SPO-15. False because SPO-15 give you nice picture what is happening around you + warn you when missile is launched at you. This is not truth for AN/ALR-45(V). Everything what you see there is only bunch of question marks and absolutely no info when radar is locked on you or when missile is launched. Its more comparable to SPO-10 even it give you more info.
F-14 is according to you far better jet. False because radar is super unreliable and easily defeatable by notching (only head-on mode for PD) and AIM-9P are obsolete. So practically it dont have any effective weaponry.
I absolutely do not understand where you read this. I said that all-aspect IR missiles are much more effective in sim than in RB what is truth. Nothing more, nothing less.
Yes, but you only point out specifically the Mig-23,
Which is off topic btw, but if your so offended by the MiG-23 at 11.3 or 11.7 killing you in air sim because you couldn’t see a clearly visible smoke trail, then that on you.
The R-24T definitely burns longer than 3 secs I’m pretty sure.
The A-10C at 11.3 Sim air battles literally has SMOKELESS MISSILES, making your point extremely invalid.
One detail. I am that MiG-23 which killing everybody other. :D
I killed so many F-14 that it wasn’t even nice. And the moment I got the F-14, I found out why I was killing so many of them.
And its really 3 seconds. You can check missile stats.
As for the AIM-9M, I agree with that. That missile is especially dangerous on the F-16. I’ve had many encounters against them and they were able to guide even when I had the engine off, firing flares and pulling G at the same time.
SPO-15 doesn’t detect any radar that matters so none of what you said applies. It also has terrible angles and detection even when it does work. Both RWR are trash and can’t be relied upon.
F-14 is a far better jet, especially in sim. I won’t humor a differing opinion here.
it can pick up since (not old) update.
but, it cant justify launch from track for example. also cant classify them
and thats same for any PD radar, at least which ones in bandrange
well, it was good against 23MLs for example, but only 14A and untill decompression.
now, when theyre facing 27ER - 14A useless(except of Iranian one), 14B just fine.
23ML may have problem with positioning into notching due to older SPO-10 so probably yes. There can F-14A work but still I would prefer 23ML. I have that Iranian one and it was pure pain. Mainly when I compare it to MiG-29.
