The US air tree has a solid tech tree from what I’ve heard, but their rank 8 premiums are mediocre at best. I play the Su-30mk2 a lot and I run into F-20 Tigersharks a lot which is a 1.0 BR difference. They don’t stand a chance. The F/A-18C Early only has fox-1 missiles as its radar missiles, and again, mediocre at best. It barely has any countermeasures (only 60), slow speed, and gets up-tiered a majority of the time, facing it with jets with like 5 or 6 Fox-3 missiles that they clearly do NOT have. How come Switzerland has a F-18C premium at the same BR but has twice the amount of countermeasures? It isn’t even from switzerland. it is from the US and it is better than the one from the country it comes from.
Some suggestions I have are to buff the F-18C premium in the US air tree (give it more countermeasures and etc), possibly give it a new premium that can actually compete with the Su-30mkk and mk2, and possibly nerf the Su-30 mkk premium variants. Prem Su-30 should not even be 13.3. It should be 13.7
Because it utilizes bol pod which US did not IRL. Though bug reports have been made and accepted for American F-18C/C late to get those BOL pods which would increase countermeasure
It’s was probably one of the best 12.7 before they added stuff like Su-30 at 13.3. It is still considered to be best by many player. As for speed that is accurate
US is most likely getting a new prem which would be F-14D
Every jet is bad compared to the 13.3 su30s because they should be 13.7. This isn’t a problem with the USA jets. F-18C Early is the strongest 12.7 in game tied with F-15
