because it has a quad pack missile, so up to 60 per launcher, with two launchers and ammo boxes would give it up to 240 missiles for intercepts
even keeping 10 full missiles you would get a total of 120 missiles

How is it a best when its only the radar and platform who is upgraded.

Which is a majority of the problem at top tier. Most top AAs now are essentially forced into being anti-munition devices.
It only benefits Russia, which already has the best DIRCM heli+best missiles in game. So it’s kind of the icing on the cake for making Russian CAS and anti-air the best in game.

Here, let me rephrase.
Russia is the only nation that will 100% of the time benefit from this. For other nations, it is at best a 50/50 that they won’t have to face this behemoth if an Anti-Air. And again. Russia has the best A2G missile, the best DIRCM heli, and now the best AA system. How the hell are other nations supposed to counter Russia’s Air Arm, when they can’t use SPAAG thanks to Kh-38 spam, and now can’t use Air thanks to the new Pantsirs KMV? Are they supposed to just let it screw them over?

In what sense of “modern anti-aircraft systems” are you specifically speaking about Top Tier? If so, the NASAMs claps with extremely good missiles both AMRAAM-ER and AIM-9X. Just make sure you set default range of the radar to 20km and you’re golden.
ah that’s your issue, once you unlock the top tier spaa you won’t have complaints they are very good.
EDIT: As far as the HUMVEE goes. It’s better in my opinion since it’s small and you can hide in high places easier. Only downside is the trailer being a pain.

Also dont complain about China u have the thor, the upgraded thor, the Cs/sa5 with a 30mm gau and really good missiles also the HQ11 all are used in the chinese aemy while in the US there is not a single anti air used in the army after the LAV-AD.
Dont complain about Israel they have the SPYDER wich is a beast.

Also, the US is the only nation in game wich doesnt have a single AAA system used in their army, Germany has the IRIS-T, Russia has the 2S6, the Strela, the Tor, the Pantsir, the Buk-M3, the UK has the Sky SabreJapan has the Type 93, the Type 81, the Tan-Sam Kai, and the Type 03; China has the Tor and its modernized version and the HQ11; Italy has the Otomatic and the FSAF SAMP; France has the FSAF SAMP (Mamba); and Sweden has the ELDE98 and the nasams3 in their platform not like the one in the US that doesnt even use her real platform and Israel has the SPYDER.

That’s why I asked for clarification on what you posted on your topic because saying “Modern AAs” is a very broad topic. On top of that saying US tech failed like the CLAWs is also a VERY broad statement because US projects can fail from funding, interest, administration changes, or just plain out eh whatever lets get some money out the door on something new. In game the CLAWs is more than a capable AA and the NASAMs is just peak in my opinion regardless if it’s US or not. As far as saying adding US specific AA’s to top tier and then stating OP is usually the reason it wasn’t added but regardless US is more than fine at top tier and in my opinion the only nation tied with Germany as best top tier nation.
Apart from Germany having the best anti air at top tier the IRST right now US is second.
