Sure do, but every tree realistically now adays is lacking a strong spaa top end, bar maybe the ITO and flak…
However USA has access to some of the overall best cap/cas planes.
Like a rafale for cas is potent, but an F15E can do both cap and cas easily.

KA-52/50 get fragged easily on super open maps like any other helicopters but on maps with lots of cover for the helicopters, KA-52/50 dominate.
So what if the F-15E has 26 air to ground missiles? It’s best stuff is the same good old 0.9 Mach speed AGM-65Ds with warheads that sometimes can’t even one shoot tanks meanwhile the KH-38MT is punching through any tank armor and the GBU-39s that require you to slow down by a lot in order to even be able to drop them while becoming more easy to hit the Pantsirs or Air Missiles from enemy jets.
Rafale and Mirage 2000D Hammers are just as slow as the AGM-65s. Who cares about lock on range? You spawn close to the battlefield on all maps and within Pantsir range. All other nations gotta hug the deck moment they spawn or go away from the main zone in order to avoid the Pantsirs meanwhile SU30/34 can easily fly towards the zone.
“No tech tree has SPAA capable of dealing with even F-16C” You must be super super incompetent to not be able to take down an F-16C with the Pantsir. I’ve tested the Pantsir myself in a custom user mission and this thing is really busted. The fact noobs got their hands on currently the only competent SPAA in the game and still say it’s bad is really funny.

If you die to Pantsir it’s as embarrassing as dying to ITO-90M.

And I’mma say it right now. I also killed lots of Pantsir but those were only the ones that were unaware of me a single bit or were paying attention to other air vehicles.
Have an single Pantsir fixate on you throughout your whole flight and you will never be able to approach the zone unless you hug the deck real close while having it throw its missiles at you or shooting its dual 30mm at you.

23 KM Launch Range with 20 KM lock range. What map does actually spawn you further than 13 KMs? None. The moment you spawn you are within Pantsir range. Trying to run side climb and gain distance from the Pantsir in order to engage it at an safe distance?
No worries, the Pantsir most likely knows what you’re trying to do so it’s keeping its eyes on you until it sees you try to engage it.
Throwing AGM-65Ds with Mach 0.9 at it? Don’t worry It would be able to counter all of them before it even gets close to it because you are throwing AGMs way slower than it’s 1300 m/s SPAA missiles. Let’s not forget it has the ability to lock multiple targets at once.
Can the ADATS , Flarakrad or ITO counter 3 Russian Jets that can carry AGMs with over Mach 2 speed ? Hell no.

I have to throw 2-3 even maybe 4 AGM-65Ds at an Pantsir and pray to god that it doesn’t counter all of them in time meanwhile SU30/34 missiles are so fast other SPAAs from other nation don’t even have time to react.
ADATS can’t even lock into those things to begin with.
I am not here to defend CAS. I am here to say because it’s BS what is happening right now in Ground Top Tier for Russia.
25km is what you need for a 22km effective range against a straight target, and potentially 18km against a maneuvering target.
Cause Pantsir is 20km against drones, 18km against helicopters, 16km against jets, and 13km against maneuvering jets.

Can’t speak on the last two options but can about h the ADATS. It struggles against jets traveling straight as an arrow towards battlefield within it’s range. Just had one eat a missile the other night simply flying straight and all that it did was take a part of its tail and that was it. Continued flying straight unimpeded dropping ordinance before turning away and rearming. 9km compared to in his own words 16km Pansir is a little skewed in my opinion almost twice the range of the ADATS

Jack, first what tanks do you have at your disposal? if you got the m1’s and adats, then your best bet is to try and play like a stealth archer with both.
First for ground with the m1’s, your main strengths are gonna be your mobility, turret traverse, and front turret armor. Basically made to be a fairly competent flanking tank. These tanks are best used with good map knowledge, flank routs, and usually near hills you can peak over. Sometimes your turret armor will save you, sometimes not. In other words your the light tank of MBT’s.
With the adats, this is more of a pain to play. Mainly cause it’s the roland of top tier with a glock.
Your radar doesn’t cover that far above you, making any jets flying high harder to find. It also has trouble seeing ANY incoming weaponry, making interception nearly impossible.
Your do have 8 missiles at your disposal that can be fired one after the other with goodish range to combat most helicopters and some slower strike aircraft. These missiles are also able to destroy tanks but only as a last resort really.
You also have a 25mm you can use for self defense against super light tanks and mbt sides.
Mobility is meh, and your top speed is sub par.
In short, this spaa isn’t suited for defending against top tier supersonic attackers and their munitions but can be used against most other targets with certain degrees of success. With your best bet being ambush tactics and killing over confident aircraft that get to close.
Also, with the most recent burf to seeing your missile. You will have a harder time leading at longer ranges but your enemies wont see the missile either
Focus MBTs, stay near trees, buildings, and dead tanks while also positioning yourself against enemy tanks.
Played Soviet 12.0 three times the other day, died to CAS in all three games, all of the game were complete stomps with our side losing hopelessly and getting spawn camped.
It can happen to anyone. Top tier is a horrendously balanced mess. The maps don’t help either, giving Mach capable CAS easy little squares to bomb.
bro wdym they have 1 singular op thing , they have the best cas in the game BY FAR its not even close, the best aa in the game BY FAR , the best light tanks 2S38 and bmp2m , the only potent top teir missile carrier tank, the best helicopters in the game BY FAR, and the t90m and bvm are absolutly crazy if ur not stupid, u cannot defend that , read what the other bloke said in ur replys (wastedPa) and tell me hes wrong, if u deny this you obvously havnt played top teir , i have both russia america top teir and i can tell you for a fact they are polar opposites to play, dont get me wrong the american tech tree has some great vehicles (hstvl my beloved) but nothing compares to the lineup russia has atm.

Another post defending Russian equipment to refute.
2S38 is not even top 5. And BMP-2M is an IFV, IFVs are barely useful at their BRs let alone at the top.
The top light tanks/auto-lights are CV90120, HSTVL, VT5, Sprut M, AGS, and RDF/LT.
Even TAM-2C is a better pick for top BR than 2S38 and obviously Begleitpanzer.
2S38 is a slightly better CV9040C. It doesn’t have the speed, pen, and gun mechanics of HSTVL.
The best helicopter in the game is AH-60.
T-90M is good armor with an average round and good enough mobility. BVM trades armor for more mobility.
Also I play top BR ground multiple times a week, usually USA, Britain, and Germany when taking a break from the China, Italy, Swedish, and Israel higher BRs.
USA has the largest top BR lineup in the game, USSR has 2 12.0s, and 2ish 11.7s.
USA has a Leclerc-like tank at 11.3, 2 12.0s, and another 3 11.7s. 5.3 second reloads, all firing rounds better than the Soviets can ever get for their in-game T-series tanks, with among the best mobility in the game.
I don’t have the T-80BVM or the T-90M but I’ve played with and against them, it all comes to player skill but they’re not so OP. Yeah, protection is much better than other tanks in some places but it’s quite easy to defeat them. Moreover the reload rate is ‘bad’ compared to other tanks with 5s reload, and reverse speed is well, we all know about it. Also, there’s the fact that a lot of people play against these T-80s so everyone knows where to shoot at. Just don’t shoot at the cheeks because you’ll get nowhere. The 2S38 is a good Light Tank, I’m not going to lie, it should get a higher BR but well, it’s a premium. Helicopters are rather good compared to maybe Hellfire carriers but let’s not forget Fire and forget helicopters as although they might be unreliable you can get to cover quite fast. And the Pantsir is the best SPAA for now.
