I’ve reinstalled the game, yet the same ridiculous issue remains: I can’t change any graphics settings. Every time I click ‘Apply,’ the changes instantly revert, leaving me stuck with maxed-out settings and zero access to DLSS or the new ray tracing. This update has effectively made the game unplayable. How is such a glaring problem even possible? This needs to be fixed immediately—unacceptable. https://youtu.be/AgBxgOusxio?si=vF-DuB1PLphwrtaE
Game has been uplayable for me since the update, and still no answer from support.
If you haven’t tried resetting the config.blk file, then give that a go. There may be a problem with that file (which is where these settings are saved).
- If in the game, exit the game
- Find the “config.blk” file (should be in the folder where the game is installed).
- Rename it to “config.original”
- Start the game through the launcher
See if that helps.
If, for some reason, you want to go back to your original file, just rename that back to config.blk (when out of the game).
Tried it, Doesn’t help.
IIRC you were getting to the custom settings through a gear wheel next to the settings.
It’s gone now.
This has to be intentional.
worked for me, make sure u changed the right config file cause there is .txt one also
Yeah, the new graphic fidelity-level settings are just through the game now, not through the launcher.
Are you having the same issue, of changing settings isn’t saving/persistent?
Good to hear this fixed your problem… back to the grind :D
Jesus F.Christ they should put a reminder there or something, would it have killed them.
