Upgrade for F16XL Coupon req

I came back to War Thunder after not playing for years because I saw the Space Program event and figured I’d grind out the F-16XL and sell it on the Gaijin market. I wasn’t expecting it to be easy, knowing this god forsaken game I knew it was going to be a grind.

So I’ve been grinding the mission score getting the required mission score for a mark of distinction took about 3-4 hours a day. Mind you, thats the time it took me to get the bare minimum 45k mission score I get to part 8 and finally look into what I actually need to make the plane tradable, and I find out that all the mission score I’ve accumulated is barely half of what I need for the upgrade.

Like genuinely what is the point of that. I spent all this time thinking I was working toward getting a plane I could sell, only to find out that apparently getting the plane is only half the grind if you actually want to make it tradable. And now I’m supposed to do basically the same amount of grinding AGAIN just for the upgrade.

At that point I just gave up. I’m keeping the F-16XL because I’m not spending another several dozen hours doing mission score after I’ve already spent 4 hours a day on this thing. I came back to the game after years away specifically for this event and somehow managed to burn myself out on it before even finishing the actual process.

Maybe I’m just out of touch after not playing for so long, but this grind is completely excessive.

Because everyone started grinding the events with intention to sell, and people are completly perplexed that gaijin noticed its bleeding money.

And even then unless the event vehicle is something HIGHLY anticipated or broken meta wise, the GJN/hour spent gain will never match that of just outright going to work. Certainly not right after the event ends, you need to sit on the coupon for a while.

In what way exactly?
Gajin coins don’t just materialize from thin air. Basically every GJN is a dollar/euro that someone has already paid. Buying packs/GE for GJN is actually even more profitable for Gaijin due to existing commission of 15%(IIRC) for sellers.

Gaijin would have to pay me to make me grind the coupon

You can work minimum wage in some 3rd world shthole and it will be cheaper timewise to buy it. Getting the market coupon nowadays is for people with too much time to waste or kids
