The switch was made exactly on the day my first and only vehicle suggestion was approved after weeks of fighting with the mods over it. They likely tried to stall until the new forum was ready.
So basically, yeah, they switched forums because of me.
Neato, they keep the ones that were passed however it doesn’t refer to those that were not. Or were you in mid-conversation? Aside from that, there would be a ton of archived images on the old forums that most probably cannot be found anymore. That was never passed but suggested. Or were simply shown off in a discussion. Cause at this point the old WT forums are a library and are heavily interconnected with the ongoing forums.
Cause if someone suggests something that was on the old forums, we can copy and paste the link to the old one, which would provide a lot more information about the vehicles, while the current forums add more to this.
This is what I’m more concerned about and was asking.
It’s already been two years now. Do we have an ETA for when this permanent shutdown will actually happen?
Also, RIP legacy forum. It will be missed dearly.

I would like to save a bunch of my stuff. Could there be a week of advance notice before it is shut down? Could it also be done AFTER the upcoming (american) holiday?
In the middle of saving stuff and it logged me out. Anyone have trouble re-logging in? All that happens is that it gets stuck on this screen:

Goodbye, old forum. You can finally rest now, and your ability for us to have customizable avatars, signatures, and neatly organized categories will be sorely missed.

Not much different to be honest. As content was and is still very heavily moderated…
not as heavily as the “comment” section below a Post but still very extreme. And people can make stuff disapear by just creating 3 accounts and click on “flag post” dosnt make it any better.

U know the difference between the old and the new wt forum? Or the difference between trying to be supportive or trying to look smarter than you actually are?
The issue (data, experiences and recommendations will vanish or are already lost) is identical.
