Now is there any news regarding the suggestions?
i really hope that the suggestions we made on the old forum, will be reserved for us on this new forum. i cant afford otherwise.
you apporved many of my suggestions the week before the change, even 1 day before! and i also had a lot pennding. i worked so hard for those… all i ask, is to make the suggestions reserved for the creator…
no news yet, looking like we are going to have to just copy paste them over ;(

I dont have time to transfer ca 140-150 suggestions in a couple days, and i have spent too much time, creating those on the old forum for anyone to take them, i want my work there to be safe
If i knee this would happen, i would have waited by creating the suggestions… Heck we should have an “open beta” of some sort, where one could try out the new forum, mabye start to transfer the suggestions or start on the new ones…
I never ever expected the forum to be replaced, after being safe for so long lol…
this just shows that “hurrdurr we pay less money this way” isnt the real reason
A feature that really needs to change is the hard requirement to select a nation when creating “machinery of war” posts. Some posts are not about a speicifc nation or aircraft and instead may be about “aircraft” generally. I just created a post regarding 2 stage afterburner and was forced to place it within Britain as it does concern the Tornado. But it would be better suited to be within the “general” area
How do tags work in the new forum? I can’t create a new tag?
I want to post a topic concerning helicopters, and I want to tag it “helicopter”.
But it won’t let me create the ‘helicopter’ tag.
Oddly enough, the forums let me create anything else except helicopter. Is there a sense to this? Is it because there’s a category out there called helicopter? But why does it show “No matches found”?
Am I supposed to be creating tags in the first place?
agreed, its terrible. And not needed. Again worthless decisions on where to spend their development time.

Added “other” and “few nations”. That should solve the issue.

is this change related to the Gaijin Marketplace change wich was done quite a while ago?

“Create tags” is TL3 by default.
Got to get to TL 2 for that.

Nope, just TL1 for can edit during 2 days.
Now that the light theme is available, I can actually read the forum.
I must say, the new forum actually does one thing better than the old one or any other place: it shows all patch notes, devblogs and news in a single view with clear indication what’s new and what I have seen previously!
As for the actual forums, i.e. for discussion, I’m not too keen on.
these are some really important questions to me, wich were no problem before.
many positive sides about this forum, and it is improving i see but there is still a lot of issues like ive mentioned here before. but i am desperate for these questions :-/
I see that this stupid system with post flagging still continues, proper discussions get taken down and spam posts for all kinds of services like this are still up even after being reported for days.
Bring back at least the ignore feature of the old forums and remove this dumb post flagging. It is getting beyond stupid that now you have to click 50 show post buttons in order to follow a proper thread just because a butthurt kid thought it would be funny to flag an entire discussion.
Edit: just as I thought. Stupid system.
so how do i adjust picture size? this is one of many problems.
at least i havent found out how to do it, neither on any guides. it works here, but not in other posts
