I fully agree with this (out of likes today) but i come from another point of view - i read preferred the flagged posts in order to see if the wording or the content was the reason for the flag. If the content was the issue i was always interesting like hell - like hidden nerfs, undisclosed changes, etc…
Even in the old forum there were a hell of extremely interesting posts which were locked, relocated or hidden within minutes - a look in the threads archive (final destination for locked and closed threads) was always helpful to connect some dots.
A side note but i tried using this forum at work today, and it is a janky mess when i found myself bumbling around blindly trying to search for this thread. It is clearly supposed to be used on pc, and needs a lot of work for it to even be functional on mobile as of now.
I literally came to rant here about this stupid decision. Which imbecile broke the forum so bad, that none of the Google searchs work? I will not try to find a correct forum and search inside there. It either works with Google or it doesn’t work!
This forum is third rate copy of WoW forums.
i cant tell you how many times i came to page no found from google searches…
and this site now look just liek another “modern” dumbed down UI. dont blame Gaijin, blame tic tok, squarepace and all those bullshit first pushers of service made for 200 year olds
its obscene, the issue also is alot of the google results for more obscure tanks end up linking to the now defunct forum, so for an outsider looking in, it comes off that gaijin purged the forums.
In addition to these issues, has there been or will it soon be known if suggestions will be approved again? and will they be transferred? if not each player’s suggestion has to be “reserved” so the player has some time to transfer the suggestion…
The only somewhat reliable way to show Gaijin your displease is financial one; they have any other feedback deep in backside of snail’s shell. The last stuff I’ve bought is Thunder League, and since then I see over and over my decision was right one.
Well, the new forum does have a few nice features but why change it before it’s even ready?
It’s quite annoying that I can’t start topics in the appropriate section because the section doesn’t exists yet…
The d-splash section of the webpage interferes with interacting on ANY part of the page.
Every time a page loads I have to go into the editor and change the d-spash’s section’s z-index to negative.
