BMPT will still ruin 10.7 and above lol nothing changed, either remove it or put that vehicle to 13.7 or something
Now I will preface this, that I am not a fan of the IKV 103 and I am not a Swedish main but I find it really bizarre that you are planning to remove it’s heat round.
Seriously I hated playing this vehicle, its bulky, slow to turn, the gun horizontal slew is horrendous, there is no MG and it can be 50 cal’d easily from any angle.
The ONLY thing it had was the heat round, which if you had no clear line of sight to your target (tree, fence, magic wall) was only effective 50% of the time (like most heat) when it hit a target. So if you didn’t get a decent hit, you would just get machine gunned to death or laughed at and then killed.
Very, very weird decision.
Id rather see it go up in BR than a reload nerf.
Except it doesnt appear to have a Protective cap, just a ballistic one, which doesnt have any direct impact on penetration.
Nah the 18E fits the meta much more. More missiles, more CMs and a better AESA radar (PoBIT has the worst AESA above 14.0).
The flight model advantage of the PoBIT is negligable, since the overwhelming majority of the 14.3s will still be considerably faster.
I hate saying this as I love hating on the Super Hornet, but having played both the PoBIT is easily worse in this meta by quite a bit.
Its not BR 3.0 its already at 3.7
Tho i agree with Rank III.
Bruh, that thing is an open topped TD, with limited traverse, average speed and armor not even thick enough for Cal. .50 and you want to put it next to the Medium tanks. 💀
Instead of its intender role as an Uptier Aid for the lower BRs. Its a glass cannon.
Still 12.3~13.3 is plagued by Su-30MKK/MK2, at this point I’m giving up dreaming about gaijin actually making balanced BR system since the most obvious overpowered machines are premium.
The f18e also has the horrible trust to weight ratio
Pretty sure you have to go down to 13.7 to find something worse(ignoring the f18f)
So any rate or energy fights are over before even starting
I used the Japanese one all the way to 6.0 until I got the Japanese Bulldog lol
SAV 20.12.48 should stay at 3.7
Honestly, I think the SAV 20.12.48 is fine where it is. It’s a unique, trolly little thing but it definitely doesn’t outperform its counterparts. I actually do way better in basic stuff like the Sherman, Chaffee, or Pz IV.
It’s one of those “glass cannon” vehicles that looks terrifying on paper because of the rof, but in practice, the low velocity and lack of armor keep it in check.
It’s easy to destroy and a massive CAS magnet. Being an open-chassis vehicle at this BR is basically a death sentence after first 2-3 minutes of the battle. Plus, since it has no turret you have to expose your entire hull just to get a shot, while other tanks can just peek a corner.
Comparing it to other TDs like the JgPz IV (which can actually take a hit), the 0.3 BR difference is kind of a joke. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a weak vehicle, but moving it to 4.0 is unjustified and would just break a perfectly good lineup. Is fun not allowed?

Forgive me because I’ve not played either of these jets yet (stuck grinding the F-4E), but if you’re moving the F-4S down shouldn’t the F-4J also move down, aren’t they essentially the same vehicle?
And also pls the FRG.2
As long as this doesn’t happen for grb, fine. In grb 4.7 might as well be 5.0 because Germany doesn’t have a 4.7 lineup
Oh I absolutely agree on that, but it can just iron dome it’s way to doing well.
The PoBIT does have better flight performance than the F/A-18E, but that is the only positive that the plane has. The PoBIT’s flight performance is still pretty mid/mediocre for 14.3 standards.
So mid/mediocre flight performance combined with worst AESA radar at it’s BR and worst missile loadout of it’s BR.
Yep, that would be because it was never designed for A2A and the radar programmed into the RWR database were all SAMs
BI
6.7 → 7.0 Ground Realistic Battles
Spitfire LF Mk IX (including premium variants)
5.7 → 6.0 Ground Realistic Battles
Reasoning: Both of the above aircraft are already being moved up in Battle Rating in Air Realistic Battles for the currently planned changes due to their oppressive nature in air battles. While the Spitfire LF Mk IX and the BI have generally poor close air support ability, they are extremely oppressive in an air-to-air role in ground battles, warranting BR increases that match the increase for Air Realistic. In ground battles, opposing aircraft have far less play area to attempt to counter or gain energy over the BI or Spitfire - making possible counter aircraft like the P-51H or F-80A-5 far less effective, respectively. As such, both the BI and Spitfire are possibly even stronger in Ground Realistic Battles than in Air Realistic Battles. This is especially true for Ground Realistic’s sister mode: Squadron Realistic Battles, where both of these aircraft completely dominate their respective BRs, and an increase for both is sorely needed.

MiG-25PD
11.0 → 11.3 Air Realistic Battles
Reasoning: The MiG-25 currently occupies a very low battle rating for its capability due to its lack of gun armament and poor performance at low altitude. The initial assessment that the aircraft would perform poorly in Air Realistic due to these flaws is incorrect. Flight performance at high altitude is exceptional, and a large number of aircraft around 11.0 do not have radar warning receivers that can detect the MiG-25’s radar. This combined with the speed and range of the MiG-25’s missiles, means that opponents can often die with no warning whatsoever (missile diamonds do not appear if the missile has burned out). This is incredibly difficult for the aircraft at 11.0 to overcome, and can often turn high altitude regions of the map into a no-fly zone. As such, the MiG-25 should go up in battle rating. Even at 11.3, the MiG-25 should rarely face aircraft that can directly challenge it in its given role.
J10C 12.7 → 13.0 GRB
I guess that’s alright? Doesn’t really have a comparably good CAS loadout though so I’m guessing it’s raised due to the air to air capabilities.
JH-7A (+Prototype) 11.7 → 12.0 GRB
Sorry, why?! China really doesn’t have a 12.0 GRB lineup and those planes seemed perfectly fine at 11.7. Now, players will either have to uptier their 11.7 lineup to bring adequate CAS or uptier their CAS tremendously. Even if we try to consider bringing a helicopter, you know that these are pretty ineffective and not really worth taking out. Especially with the horrible modification grind there.
JH7 11.3 → 11.7 ARB
again, why? sure you get two PL5EIIs which are great in a downtier but that’s it. you’re still stuck with just 2 IR missiles and 200 cannon rounds. Compared to other strike aircraft at that BR that’s a highly insufficient armament.
SAAB105G 8.3 → 8.7 GRB
wow, a reasonable change for once! I don’t quite understand why the premium SAAB remains at 8.3 though.
BMPT (-72) 11.3 → 11.7
yet another useless attempt at balancing a broken vehicle. Maybe, instead of balancing this thing purely through BR changes, consider adding weakspots that were removed after the dev-server. That would let you put it back down to 11.0 or so.
Turm III 8.3 → 8.7
well, that took a while but guess you finally got around to it
Ikv 103 4.0 → 3.3 & removal of HEAT-FS
that’s just plain stupid. let’s remove the unique selling point of the vehicle that makes it the glass-cannon it is and put it at a BR without much of a lineup.
Pvkv II 4.0 → 4.3
ah I see. the goal is to fully dismantle swedens lower BR lineups to push people towards other nations. seriously, what were you smoking to decide to increase this tank’s BR? It’s a tank purely made for sniping which is already quite difficult thanks to the map design. having a high pen round is simply necessary. that’s also more or less the only good thing about the tank. the horizontal traverse and slow chassis already do enough to balance the vehicle
M24 rank II → rank III
well, that’s nice. at least we’ll be able to use it for dailies or BP missions now. pushing the Chinese one to 4.0 pretty much ruins the lineup there though…
Cromwell V 3.3 → 3.7
so, the Cromwell V has a max pen of 103mm with the 75mm cannon. the Cromwell I at 3.7 has 122mm pen with the 57mm. The Cromwell I also has a faster reload (4s vs. 5s aced). Sure the V might generate more spall but for that it has to pen first. this change again seems not really well thought through.
That’s it for now. There certainly are a few good changes here but the vast majority seems nonsensical attempts at balancing stuff simply by shuffling BRs slightly. This especially hurts nations that don’t have overflowing tech trees like the big 3.
These are ground RB BRs.
The FGR.2 is already 10.7 ground. IIRC so is the F-4J.
Punisher of 8.3 finally got what it deserved for months now.

Best change now we just nead t58 at 9.0 and we are good
