As it currently stands, the CCIP indicator for any glide weapon operates as if it was a regular GBU without the wings giving it extra range, meaning that it is impossible to truly judge when the target is within range and when you can release the weapon, as a result a huge amount of potential performance is lost with these weapons due to leaving a comfortable margin of error.
My proposal is this, change the symbology from the conventional bomb CCIP circle to rectangle/trapezoid that shows the full potential of these weapons. The rectangle or similar symbology could purely indicator range, but a more trapezoid symbology could also show a rough indication of the bombs ability to correct onto the target.
This is an example of what this symbology could look like (though I would imagine some kind of range scale on there too, but my illustrator skills are a little rusty)
In addition to CCIP symbology, CCRP timings need to be updated as well. As currently they too work as if the glide bomb had no wings, which makes using CCRP symbology equally unreliable in estimating max range, especially when in cockpit using the HUD. This should instead to be set to 80-90% of the max range if it continues to utelise the same standard symbology as non-glide bombs. (This still allows some margin of error in-case of releasing the weapon a little too early, but should still get the most out of the weapon)
