Update 2.59.0.22

Aircraft

  • Hawk (all variants) — a bug that caused the aircraft to shake when turning in Arcade Battles has been fixed.
  • CA-27 Mk.3 2 (Great Britain), CA-27 Mk.32 (Japan) — the name, description and icon for the modification that unlocks 1,000 lb bombs have been fixed. (Report).
  • CA-27 Mk.32 (Great Britain), CA-27 Mk.32 (Japan), F-86E(M) (Israel) — the non-functional gyroscopic gunsight in the cockpit has been fixed.
  • F-86E(M) (Israel) — flight model parameters have been adjusted to the level of CL-13 Mk.4 (same as F-86E), the engine has been changed to J47-GE-13. (Report).
  • B-26B (Indonesia) — an issue where the aircraft lacked the updated bomber damage model shared by other aircraft in its family has been fixed. (Report). An issue where the right engine was missing from the X-ray view has been fixed. (Report).
  • Mirage 4000 — a bug that caused the tooltip of the radar in X-ray view to be empty has been fixed. (Report).
  • H145M — a bug that caused the engines to overheat has been fixed. (Report).
  • Ka-29 — the erroneously added S-24 modification has been removed. Silver Lions and Golden Eagles spent on purchasing the removed modification will be compensated. (Rep ort).
  • Saraph — Battle Rating in Arcade Battles has been reduced to 10.7. (Report).
  • AGM-88G AARGM-ER ARM — the missile’s flight model has been adjusted; a maximum speed of Mach 4.0 is now achievable when launched at Mach 1.8 from an altitude of 12 km (previously, only a speed of Mach 3.6 was reached under these conditions).
  • Kh-31 (all variants) ARMs — a bug that caused the air intake fairing jettison animation to not play after launch has been fixed.

Ground Vehicles

  • A bug that caused the field repair to not start has been fixed. (Report).
  • T-44 (Be Prepared!) — an issue where the rear-left mudguard was present in the damage model has been fixed.
  • With the release of the Sky Odyssey major update, the damage models regarding overpressure damage for many ground vehicles have been refined. Wheeled vehicles where the crew is separated from the transmission are no longer destroyed when the transmission sustains overpressure damage. Many vehicles have had their internal compartment layouts revised; previously, the entire crew would be knocked out even if some members were protected by armor. Fuel tanks located within the fighting compartment of many ground vehicles have been added to the list of “trigger modules” for the overpressure damage mechanic. Certain modules on many ground vehicles are no longer classified as trigger modules because they are separated from the crew by armor.

Naval Vessels

  • A bug that caused bots to extinguish fires too quickly has been fixed.

Locations and Missions

  • Assault. Air Arcade — balance changes have been made due to the updated bomber damage model.
  • Airfields on winter maps for Air Battles at Battle Ratings 3.7–10.3 have been temporarily replaced pending a fix for a bug that caused aircraft to flip over upon spawning.

Interface

  • The maximum speed of the carrier in the missile comparison window has been increased from 500 m/s to 850 m/s.
  • A bug that caused text keys to appear in the vehicle select window instead of the filter names has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the cursor to appear when opening the multi-function menu using a controller has been fixed. (Report).

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

Still no F-102A fixes.

Day 6: asking for F-102A fixes as addressed in this constructive feedback topic.

What kind of changes can be made to fix this gamemode. You can strafe a bomber nose to tail and still not kill the gunners and the fire caused (if there is one) will not bring the aircraft down before it reaches the target.

I’m really happy to see this has been changed, but now I gotta ask:

is it before or after the F-102 in the research line?
Did its BR change as well to match the other Mk.4 ingame?
Did it keep the sidewinders?

Any update on this; Community Bug Reporting System ?
Would like to be able to turn my hull 360° in less than 20s on Strv 122B+ tbh (also would prefer having the old neutral-steering speed on the other affected vehicles)

Keeping it at 9.0 with a HELL of an engine nerf is a choice

And still waiting on F-102 fixes

It’s still 9.0 even after the engine change.

They should really remove its Sidewinders and update BR to 8.0.

What the hell…

so br reduction to 8.7 in realistic and simulator?

why not at 8.7?

Nice changes! How about F-102 or Sweden fixes as well? Also that M15/42 gunner bug if you got time

The other F-86E is at 8.0, this one should be as well for the sake of parity. It shouldn’t be nearly that high, and it shouldn’t have sidewinders it didn’t actually use either.

its got the FM of the 8.0 CL-13

if it keeps 9B it should be 8.3 in the current enviroment really

Because the FM is really similar to those of the F-86A-5 and CL-13 Mk.4 (Italian F-86E), which are both at 8.0.

I would rather play it at a very playable BR without Sidewinders, though that’s my personal preference.

This also works. F9F-8 with 4 x Sidewinders and German Seahawk with 2 x Sidewinders also exist at 8.3.

Yay, the engine change made it the proper version. Now need to double-check to see if it even had the missiles keeping it that high of a BR.

Now, if only the other one that was gotten from the same program had its name fixed. Italian Canadair Sabre name fix: Community Bug Reporting System

(One day the incorrect CL-13 names (they were never used as a service name by anyone) will finally be removed, but until bug reports for the German ones are made, that’s a long way off.)

even better

all the sources i have seen mentions the sidewinders, i have never seen any source saying it didn’t carry them

They’re likely mistaken, I haven’t seen a single source indicating Mk.4s can use them, or images showing that Greece made use of them on anything other than the Sabre Dogs.

i have never seen an image of a F-102 having any AIM-4s even in hangars, does that mean they didn’t have them? also they are no photos of the F-86D carrying them, only their pylons(?). The F-86E(M) served the same time Greece was using AIM-9Bs.

What changes to assualt arcade?

Any chance that the F-86E(M) BR will be decreased. It has 600kg less thrust now than the CL-13A Mk5
