There are plenty of ways to fix that, Gaijin just refuses to do anything lol
Though against planes, the Gepard-likes BRs are just another result of compression. If more nations had something like the M163, the Gepard-likes definitely could move up one or two steps.
But I guess having tracking and a lead indicator with a whole 1.5km of range (not even a search radar, literally just a track radar) is too OP at 7.3 lmao
that is due to any pheonix besides the 54C+ needs extra cooling equipment that is housed in the front ceneterline pylons, the 54C+ has internal cooling so that frees up the frontal pylons
If the F-14A IRIAF were to remain a 13.7 it needs:
More cms (at least 120)
Aim-9Ls
And a better radar
The F-14D with:
4 Aim-9ms
And 4 Aim-54s which weren’t even weak to begin with
And 640 cms if I recall right… is just monstrously good.
A buddy of mine whom isn’t the greatest pilot is currently averaging a 2.19 KDr with it (he’s playing 147 games) and his average KDr for air vehicles is about a 0.6
I would say Aim-9ms can be used more potently with the irst than a F-90 can be.
And I’ve used both a lot.
And then there is a10c that fails to do well even without aa up because of its abysmal speed, climb rate and mavericks being garbage.
And of course devs just dont care.
It really doesn’t deserve it.
The A4E doesn’t get any computers besides CCRP which is quite hard to use effectively.
Its only methods of a guaranteed kill are the GBU’s, which it only gets 3 of.
Its a Slow underpowered aircraft which is originally seen at 8.3 ARB but with LESS thrust
(3750Kg 8.0 GRB Vs 3470kg 9.3 GRB)
This aircraft struggles to get past 600Kph with just the 3 bombs not to mention it needs to be within 4-6km for a solid lock.
moving it up to 9.7 would be calling it on-par with the SU-25 which has:
-6 laser guided missiles
-2 370kg rockets
-2 30g R-60M’s (Vs 2x 10g Aim-9B’s…)
-256 CM’s (4.2x the CM’s of the A4E)
-Guns CCIP, bombs CCIP, rockets CCIP (A4E has none of those.)
