As for your question, ‘where tf you concluded im an apache player?’, of course it’s because I checked your player stats. Among the six helicopters you have over 100 battles in, four of them are Apache‑like vehicles in a broad sense that can carry Hellfire missiles. Otherwise, what should I call you? A Hellfire player?

If we compare the F-14D to something like the Tornado F3 Late, then 13.0 is the correct BR for it in ARB.
The F-14D has the better overall FM, but radar and weapons fit advantage still lies with the F3 Late. 4x Aim-120Bs are still ebtter than 6x Aim-54s, (as far as I am aware the Aim-54C+ arent that much better than the base ones) and in that config you cant take 4x Aim-9M, only 2. Which is less than the F3 Late.
Now granted, compared to many at 13.0, such as the Harriers or Viggen, Both the F3 Late and F-14D should be 13.3, but until the Su-30s move up to 13.7/14.0, they are stuck at 13.0. As neither even come close its performance.
IRIAF only moved up because of the F-90s which are very potent when employed right, Though its overall weapons fit probably needs upgrading for it to remain at 13.7
From a purely objective standpoint, the F-14D does have a much better radar with IRST, something that no other Tomcat has in-game (it also has the EOTS, which is almost entirely useless, but still), so it should have a higher BR than the F-14B. However, Gaijin loves selling premiums that are better than their TT counterparts at the same BR, so it is, what it is.
The mucher better RWR, the AIM-9Ms and the massively increased CM count should be enough of a trade-off compared to the F-14A IRIAF, but since the Fakours get so many more kills, there is that big BR gap between the F-14D and the IRIAF.
The AIM-54C+ are reskins of the regular AIM-54Cs, though both of them are better than the AIM-54A and all of them are worse than the Fakour.
The balance in WT is completely screwed thanks to the massive skill differences between bad, mediocre and good players, the BR compression and Gaijins unwillingness to risk increasing queue times. The IRIAF and the Zeros are probably the most obvious results of that.

The better radar is fair vs the F-14B. Though Im of mixed opinion actually how much impact IRST has with its current implementation.
But whether that alone is enough to warrant it being a higher BR… im not sure.
But alas, that is just compression, because something like the F3 Late being the same BR as the FA2 just collapses any semblence of balance.
In WTs current state, the better radar + IRST definitely isn’t enough for a higher BR, but that’s also a problem of the F-14Ds implementation.
The F-14D should have been an actual upgrade over the F-14B in-game and gotten a TT variant as well as a premium variant, but Gaijin being Gaijin didn’t care enough to do that lol

False. Most noobs call CAS OP cause they’re bad at playing it and don’t like when others are good at playing it.

Oh, it’s just noobs that call CAS OP, but with the SPAA it’s all just good players that call it OP.

Nah, CAS totally isn’t OP. It’s those evil SPAAs, especially the devil that is the M163, that are OP!

The only br where CAS isn’t really busted is around 8.3 and 8.7 where all the gun SPAA live
Im going to largely stay out of this, because I cant be bothered, but I think one of the biggest issues when it comes to discussing CAS is that just because it can fly doesnt defacto make it OP.
I can think of many CAS aircraft that can literally do nothing in one match (for example, vs an OP SPAA) but then can do well, when not facing it.
Id just say that CAS is compressed, but at the same time, there are SPAAs that are under BRed. Then at the same time there are massive gaps in tree where there is no adequate SPAA coverage.
So “CAS can be OP”, is the statement that I think is overall more fair

The fact that SPAA only ever is regarded as OP when it is strong against tanks, no matter how good (or bad) it is against CAS? (Though I will admit, the Pantsir SM-SV is OP)
Warthunder is mostly played by new low skill players. There’s still people who call the F-104s OP.
Because noobs who do the most complaining don’t have SP for planes.
