The Sea Harrier FA.2 can only pick either missiles or the gun for its loadout, and it’s subsonic. Oh, and it can carry two extra 1000lb bombs on top. So what exactly makes it better than those two?
Congrats on making the game balance even worse.
Only things good about this was the Tunguska finally going up in BR. Problem is it didn’t go high enough. It should be 11.7, it’s better than the ADATS system, so either move it to the same BR as the ADATS or move the ADATS down.
The rest of these changes are egregiously bad as usual. It’s the typical “F**k USA” approach while you bottle feed Germany and hold Russias hand every single update. Keep moving the over-br’d US vehicles up in BR every update while you continuously lower the BRs of some of the most egregiously broken German and Russian vehicles.
Keep up the “great” work, those statistics really are doing numbers. If only you knew how to properly interpret the information.
Yeah we need much more info in the game or the wiki, I basically learnt everything important here, on youtube or by myself because the game doesn’t teach you a darn thing
Z19/E up to 11.7 but didnt added anything… that is crazy… how can she stay with z10/A together in 11.7…
you get 9X when everyone else has an equivalent
Exactly my point.
I can think of no reason why the F-14D, Viggen DI, Su-33, F-15A/J, Su-27, etc etc are fine at 11.7 but the FA2 would be too OP to drop down from 12.0
Heck, im struggling to think of a decent reason why the Tornado F3 Late couldnt also move down, but FA2 is the bare minimum
Lmao more proof that gaijin actively hates Italy:
Csaba was the ONLY low tier tank that got its reload butt cancelled
Also these BR changes were handled horribly
I literally used the M41D as an example of a vehicle the Leopard 1A5s shouldn’t face in the original BR change thread. I’m even less likely to actually crew it and play it now, just completely skipped over it.
So what was the point of asking for feedback?
Who asked to tune up Naval Air early jets BRs, instead of tuning down rest of the early jets BRs to 8.0-8.7(there was always counterplay - AA rocket ships, other jets, proximity fuse shells)? - no one. Now there will be no planes at all in naval toptier battles. First you removed planes second spawn with Ordnance, that no one asked(and that was cause of ground players and where is ground and where is naval), and now this - another nerf on diversity of naval battles.(That’s completely wrong decisions)
Come on guys, stop killing Naval battles fun, do the opposite thing. Naval air fights is fun and for most of the time only option to comeback for loosing team or to downtired players against uptiered.
Why there is no tune down excessive Naval AB air BRs of some planes, that overturned by Air Arcade statistics like Ki-87, A2D-1 and so on?
And pretty please tune up naval maps BRs brackets for 0.3-0.7, after decompression that was never done, so now destroyers playing on BB maps and BB playing only 8 different maps 4 of them is exactly the same(for almost a year now), bring back fun maps with obstacles and for the TOP tiers battles.
LOL
This is why I never bother spamming these topics with suggestions. They just do what they want. T26E5 stays 6.7, but the unused M41D goes to 8.3? You can’t make this stuff up.
They’ve probably never even flown either of these vehicles. It really feels like British aircraft are being targeted. Using the “OP” argument for the late Tornado F3 and Sea Harrier FA.2 is pretty ridiculous XD
I dont understand letting Tiger IIs and IS-2s anywhere near 5.3. And now the Super Hellcat has to face 7.7? What? Who thought that was…logical?
The AIM-9X is the bare minimum that the USA deserves to have, especially considering that the AIM-9M literally devours all of its energy and fuel chasing a single flare . On top of that, its maneuverability is extremely poor, even at distances below 3 km, where it should have enough capability to handle a high-G maneuver against an aircraft using flares.
Missiles from NATO’s enemy nations are able to ignore flares much more effectively from considerable distances and still hit their designated targets. This even applies to long-range missiles.
Honestly, I’ve already accepted that the current top tier of the game is dominated by SU aircraft, so I’ve shifted my focus entirely toward ground and naval vehicles.
Even helicopters are better represented by NATO’s opposing nations, except for China, where the Z-19E premium is completely awful, with mediocre short-range AGM missiles.
But why would only the US get access to Aim-9X level weapons, especially when everything you said about Aim-9M applies to other nations too.
oh he’s back. its not worth it. saying from experience
Why premium su30’s still in 13.3? And f14 ira rise? I mean 12.3 its a constant 13.3, fox 1 face fox 3, and you have a lower chance against
No, There is a higher chance of an R-60 or whatever its variant is called ignoring flares than an AIM-9L/M doing the same.
These missiles are simply not performing equally or being treated as equivalent, especially when we look at which aircraft are currently dominating the skies at the highest tiers in the game ( SU’s )
bait. no, not even bait. its whatever it is
Aim-9L having terrible flare resistance is more a victim of terrible heat signature modeling (well, technically there is no heat signature modeling for aircraft) and if/when that does ever get fixed/added, then the 9Ls should end up more resistant.
As for Aim-9M vs R-73.
The balance is okay at the moment, they both have strengths and weaknesses and its more about context for which is better not a defacto superiority.
Su-30SM2 is incredibly strong at top tier because of the IBRIS radar and huge number of R-77-1s and their relative performance compared to most other top tier Fox-3s at the moment. I would not necessarily include the R-73 into the core reason why it is so strong at the moment.
If Aim-9X is added to the US.
Then ASRAAM is added to Britain
IRIS-T is added to Germany, Italy and Sweden
MICA IR is added to France
Python-5 is added Israel (who is the only nation without anything stronger than 14.0 who doesnt even get an AESA Top tier)
China (I genuinely dont know what it is called off the top of my head but it would get one too)
Japan… I think has a native option, AAM-5 I think?
and the soviets would get R-73M or R-74.
There is no future where the US would be only ones to get next gen IR missiles. Quite frankly, the F-15C GE should have been moved up to 14.7
