Yep. some closer range destroyer spawns where also bots spawn scattered across the map. Those bots will spawn in ships of the lowest BR of the bracket that is played and only the one that you attack is shooting back. and only if he is attacked. That way you will find a spawn far away from enemy bbs and you will be able to fight bots of around your weightclass to regain some sp. I hope…
i 100% agree with what you said don’t destroy the mode gaijin instead of killing it listen to your community and solutions they offer
I was never really in love with the SP in EC i mean it only take one team to have some op ships and wipe out the other team’s side it was just and all hop in BB’s and run the lobby I’ve speed run getting a BB in EC and it only took me maybe 10 min’s to get an Iowa. I think the new no SP thing works better to stop that and there no worse felling then spawning in you BB just to die to an better one in one shot. that’s why so many people leave the EC i don’t think in the 2-3 year’s I’ve been playing EC I’ve never had a game end with two semi full team’s. There all ways an team half empty getting stomped i think maybe giving people an existing point pool they could add to would work like tanks and once they add SUB DD’s will have a role to play at all BR’s.
I really like this, with some tinkering having some actual player bots that only use destroyers or other easy ships to kill would be great to provide sp while also being there to kickstart matches at the beginning (to reach the minimum player count more easily) before more and more players join. It would have to be a limited amount of bots so it wouldn’t be abused, but with the respawn timers I think this could work!
a bot or AI cannot be like a player even when gta6 comes out which is the best AI is always limited and it’s like saying that the human staffers of the forum are fired to make room for AI he cant work never and cant be balanced or is too op or is too weak dont exist the balance becouse he cant think like the player.
well of course but you could still make it better to have an enjoyable time other game’s use the bot to add like they already do with the ai ships in the mission Der Zerkquetscher has some good idea’s on how to use the bots to make the game mode work better naval EC becoming an sort of PvPvE is fine by me it already is.
bro you think gaijin will focus on better ai on ship spending dont knw how many money and i dont even knw how he can render enjoyable an ai for an a pvp game focussed for the 3 gamemode boh i think you have to be slave of gaijin for tell something like this.
I’m trying to give input but you over hating and perpetrating please enlighten us with ways to make it better.
hating? bro lol for calling you slave of gaijin? sry for that. but you won you are too genius i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid to understand the genius.
Player bots? No i meant just bots in general…Problem was that as soon as one team was mostly in Battleships and they didnt spawn destroyers anymore, there were no enemies of your caliber for the sp free starter destroyers to fight against. To gain SP. Only enemies you couldnt do anything against. And the convoy Bots and even tankers give almost no sp if you sink one of them. That and there being 0 spawnpoints where there wasnt already an enemy battleship close by.
If you had multiple areas on the map where only the starter ships at 4.7 or 5.0 or maybe even cruisers that could still get damaged and sunk by destroyers with good ap or sap rounds could spawn (maybe till 5.7 or something, idk), you would be able to find an area somewhere on the map where you could fight at least more or less equal enemies. Then if also just the normal bots would spawn there with some ships that only shoot to defend themselves and are only of the lower BRs of the respective bracket you could regain sp there even if no players spawn there. And gain some sp back to spawn a battleship a little while later. If there happens to be an enemy battleship to be in that area he could A: gain only very little SP by staying there and bullying and B you could just spawn at one of the other Destroyer/light cruiser fighting areas. And the new implemented cooldown for spawns with the same ship on the same spawnpoint would make sure you couldnt just do that on repeat in one ship to get 1000s of spawnpoints. Not sure tho how it would work if you bring 4 5.0 destroyers and light cruisers though.
Yeah that’s more of what I meant, it could work if implemented well
I’m saying instead of complaining how about you leave some thought’s on how to improve the mode instead of just spamming words into you keyboard what do you think needs to be done bro. the previous way is not working and you have a problem with this way so share how you would fix it.
Post related latest changes for Naval EC
post in the other post is better show to everyone
That poor maryland man. Having to compete with 2 sojuz and an iowa…on the other team it was probably similar what people played. But great that they got rid of the SP system! Definitely op and meta ships will bully less now that they can spawn for free…
At least a bomber chad, but well…with 4 active players per team that match probably ends when the timer runs out. Or all players have fallen asleep and get afk kicked.
160 000 -players and servers are struggling, meanwhile last year 240 000 players were fine, i hope they learn from vibe coding, oh yea its a gajin i forgot.
Naval combat differs from air and land combat, especially in this mode. Weight does not fully represent strength: a powerful Iowa-class battleship with a weight of 8.7 can still be sunk by torpedoes fired from a 4.7-weight destroyer. Moreover, when high-weight vehicles destroy low-weight ones, they earn only minimal SP. For example, an Iowa-class battleship killing a 5.0-weight destroyer earns only single-digit SP, while the destroyed destroyer receives dozens or even hundreds of SP for being hit by a higher-weight vehicle. After repeating this process several times, the destroyer player accumulates enough SP to use aircraft or even higher-weight battleships. This mechanism partially compensates for balance issues.
Taking defensive positions with destroyers and hunting large ships with torpedoes was still doable for most nations (I think only the US doesn’t have DD torps that can’t override the 250kg torpedo protection), but still, you’d always have someone with Japan or UK on each team, which could carry out torpedo strikes against overpushing battleships and defend ports from attacks. All strategy is now gone, turned into a slight bit of individual strategy (such as spawning ships with torps to defend ports) but mainly a clash of big ships where the largest one reigns over the rest even more than before, since this time you won’t have people with smaller ships and everyone will only be playing the largest ones, and ships like the Prince of Wales, that lack penetration to deal with most battleships at the regular ranges you fight at in EC, will no longer be able to play at all, since you don’t have good pen, and you also don’t have an amazing reload that can compensate for it.
There might be more people trying to grind right now, until they realize the RP/minute of gameplay is just not worth it in EC and they go back to randoms to grind their favourite ships faster.
This change didn’t make the gamemode better, it made it just more meta dependent, where if u don’t play the big 3 (Iowa, Soyuz or Yamato) you stand barely no chance, perhaps you could play the Littorios, but it won’t be as enjoyable as it used to be
I did it
