Yes, they just forgot to mention that the real reason they aren’t increasing the BR rating of the premium Su-30s, despite it being the most requested BR change in the entire topic, is because it’s selling very well.

they keep making trash excuses to avoid uptiering the Su-30s while destroying the surrounding battlerating for literally no reason.
the current BR change suggests the Mirage 2000C S5 is equal to the Kurnass 2000, and the Su-30MK2 and Su-30MKK are equal to the F-14A IRIAF and Kfir C.10

what did any of the italian tanks do to deserve being moved up. why do you guys do this bullshit. just because its in a minor nation it gets moved up, how many damn times do people have to tell you its not the vehicle, its the players.

Some really dumb decisions with this update.
Leaving the Falcon at 8.3 after removing the APDS was bad
Moving the US m24 up to 3.7 but leaving it at rank II makes no sense, but …
Moving the Jumbo 75 to 5.7 in Arcade is a bloody crime
- Having it face 6.7 vehicles like Tiger 2 and 6.3 regularly like the Jagdpanther is bloody ridiculous
- US now has zero heavies at 5.3 but TWO at 5.7
- the 75mm gun is a pea-shooter when it faces 6.0+ enemies. In a trade-off it should earn battle points (in addition to SL) for every hit it soaks up for the team. The adamant reward is pretty meek.
Yeah, why the heck is the Turan III 4.3 now?

So is the bar actually for it? I says it is just for overall number of crew upgrades, so I dismissed it as something else.
it honestly makes me so mad, trying to play minor nations is so hard because they do this selective win rate crap with minor nation tanks, theres more people who are good at the game that play minore nation so those tanks go up in winrate, in turn causes them to be moved up in br, but the vehicle wont be competitive anymore

and coming from someone who has completed all the major nations ground trees, only being able to play minor nations makes the game really un fun

It’s available on the forum, sure, but it deserves an official announcement from the devs outlining the changes made to BR, not just a note at the bottom of the “Updated Planned Battle Rating Changes (April 2026)” page, which is only available on the forum.
It’s normal to have multiple communication channels, and that’s fine, it’s a method used by many, but the fact that this information is just slipped in quietly and not discussed further with the wider community is disappointing and clearly highlights the issues surrounding the SU-30 premium and BMPT.
It wouldn’t have cost anything extra to add these explanations to the “Update 2.55.1.84” changelog, below the “Battle Ratings” section.

Patchnotes displayed in game are to list changes, not to explain each of them in details (especially with BRs, where you can have dozens of changes).
We will not change in game patchnotes into few pages article that will simply discourage players to even check them, because TL;DR. If someone is interested in details, he comes to website and/or forum.
I understand your PoV but sadly we live in 2026 century and we are far behind era of “I will read this 3 pages essay before I play battle”.

But hey, we’ve seen patch notes longer than this one before, let’s not kid ourselves even in 2026.
Honestly, this topic is going to come up again in the next BR update, since it’s practically become a running gag.
I hope there won’t be any announcements about the Su-30 in version 13.0, because the Kfir C10 and the F-14 have better stats than it does, lol. (It’s a joke, please don’t do it.)

Increasing the BR of vehicles will always nerf them, regardless of how much.

For light tanks it can be a buff if they go higher from Late WW2 to Early MBTs because less Armor :))))

I feel like a lot of well liked suggestions were simply ignored…
it’s amazing that with 10 likes on the TU-95 suggestion, that it was totally ignored… it is not a great vehicle where it is now.
It’s bomb load is lower than the TU-4

Less armor but better mobility and reaction times so it depends.
BMPTs at 11.7 won’t even be the biggest balance issue in mid-higher tiers anymore.
