Yeah, it is always hilarious when a modder makes something better than a large studio with a huge amount of money and resources.
Howdy
Are there any planes to give the sea harriers a HUD gunsight ever?
The HUD was added about a year ago now I think that’s more the enough waiting.
Or are the sea harrier to just be completely neglected.
How? I genuinely cant deal with how boring the vanilla game is.
Well they kinda did. You know the warning systems on jets (I don’t really know how it’s called because i dont play jets)? They added this into the game thanks to the help of IWSM’s maker. But indeed that is far from being enough…
I’m not sure what you mean, that is an image from the hit analysis which, again, might not be correct to what actually happened. Looking at the server replay shows what actually happened and not what your client thinks happened. These two can be different due to net-code/de-sync issues.
I think I’ve come up with a solution: the developers need to create an in-game mod store. Firstly, it may allow mod developers to earn money (in-game currency, such as silver).
Secondly, it will give players on consoles the opportunity to install mods too.
And everyone is happy.
You do know what would happen right? £25 per vehicle you want a sound mod for
Remember this is Gaijin we are talking about
If Gaijin starts making money from this, then it’s for the best. They will finally start monitoring their SDK, which will start making them money. Otherwise, they can remove mods from the game altogether, as this does not bring them any profit.
So are you saying that the hit analysis is basically misleading and can’t be trusted for accurately judging where the shot actually landed?
That the real situation is only correctly visible in the server replay, not in what the client shows?
And could that also explain the recent “ghost tank” situations in arcade mode — where I physically see a tank, but the game doesn’t mark it red yet, neither on the minimap nor in the reticle?
Because my connection is good and stable, and I’m running 300+ FPS, so it doesn’t seem like a performance issue on my side.
Replacing sound files directly from the sound folder while the game is running does the job, although I can’t guarantee your account will stay alive, I am developing a mod, thus I turn off BE and only go into test drive.
Is it how I said? If so watch out, I still don’t really know if you can get banned for directly replacing the sound files with the game running.
I haven’t had any problems so far, I think it’s ok.
Why does getting bombed result in an instant kill, where you can’t even move a meter before dying?
Why are there more planes than tanks in a tank game?
Why do paper-thin tanks survive longer than heavily armored tanks?
Why is the tank spotting system broken in Arcade mode? I can clearly see a tank visually, but neither the map nor the game shows the enemy tank’s nickname above it.
Why can a tiny fence block a tank’s visibility, making enemy tanks impossible to spot?
And can you explain why, when I shoot a tank in the turret and the crew there are killed, it can still keep firing a second later like nothing happened?
Bro what are you talking about, you’re not in the right place. It’s like the third time, go complain about all that somewhere else.
That’s gotta be the worst take on mods i’ve seen in my entire life. You want to lock all mods behind a paywall, all that controlled with the 2nd most greediest company of all times, after EA? Yeah no thank you.
ok russian lover
Ragebait or mentally challenged, call it.
Go re-read my message. I never said i agreed with anything or disagreed with anything. You’re just yapping for the love of it. This thread is about the removal of sound mods and you’re randomly here talking about you getting gaijined. Get a clue and some situational awareness.
With every update, the game just gets more broken. Especially with russian tanks that don’t even die from bombs — they just flip over to the side. Meanwhile, American tanks hit a curb and their suspension is destroyed. There are also invisible tanks that only appear when you get very close, or when it’s already too late. The more messages people post about these problems, the more likely they are to finally take them seriously
And how is this relevant to this thread?
