Update 2.53.0.72 (Battle Rating changes implemented)

Battle Ratings

Aircraft

  • A bug where the missile launch zone indication was not displayed on the radar indicator unless the target was also locked on by the targeting pod when it was being used has been fixed. (Report).
  • A bug where airborne respawn points were displayed incorrectly on the horizontal situation display MFD page of modern aircraft has been fixed.
  • A bug that could cause the lock-on to “drift” away from the target in some cases when infrared air-to-air missiles locked onto targets that weren’t using countermeasures has been fixed.
  • A bug that could cause the artificial horizon in the cockpits of some aircraft to abruptly move around when performing a barrel roll to the left has been fixed.

Ground Vehicles

  • A bug where the choice of ammunition on a random vehicle in battle was applied to the game vehicle owned by the player has been fixed. The ammunition settings are now saved separately both for random vehicles and for vehicles owned by the player. (Report).
  • A bug where random SAM systems in Ground Battles had access to researchable missiles has been fixed.
  • T-55AM-1 — a bug where the turret model in the damage indicator was displayed incorrectly has been fixed. (Report).
  • H.35 — a bug where some armor parts did not rotate with the turret has been fixed.

Interface

  • A bug where the vehicle research bonus bar would display incorrectly if there was no visible premium, squadron or special vehicles in the tree has been fixed. For example, this issue occurred in the Japanese helicopter research tree. (Report).
  • A bug that caused the flags of nations to extend beyond the border of the “Vehicles Collector” profile showcase has been fixed.
  • A bug that prevented detailed missile characteristics from being displayed in the menu and in combat for Multi-Vehicle SAM Systems before switching to the launcher has been fixed.
  • A bug where the “AUTO” label was not displayed in the interface for aircraft mounted guns when the ballistic computer for air targets was enabled has been fixed.
  • A bug where the amount of ammunition in the launchers of Multi-Vehicle SAM Systems was not displayed in the action panel in replays when observing the TADS vehicle has been fixed.

Graphics

  • A bug where ammunition racks would disappear in the hangar and the detail of the ammunition itself would be reduced when NVIDIA Ansel was enabled has been fixed. (Report).

Customization

  • KW I C 756 (r) (Germany) — location conditions for the standard camouflage have been adjusted from forest to desert.
  • MiG-29N (Japan) — a description of the anniversary camouflage of the Royal Malaysian Air Force has been corrected. (Report).
  • A bug that prevented the “Fireworks mortar” decoration from working when using it on Multi-Vehicle SAM Systems has been fixed. (Report).

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

the chieftain mk. 10 and 900 should not have been moved up to 9.3. You guy’s really don’t play the game do you. The khalid is just a better chieftain 900 and the mk. 10’s only gimmick is the turret armour. This is probably your most contoversial BR change yet.

Still no love for A10C ( 11.7 in ground games instead 12.0 )
And you really hate 12.7 mig-29’s…

the f15 change is arguably worse

Nice, time to go throw some AAM-3s at 11.7s because F-15s going down was a GREAT idea!

Chieftain 900 change is horrible

Chieftain Mk10 move to 9.3 should have been coupled with an engine buff

T58 should be 9.0

Falcon and DCA should get their APDS back and have APHE removed

T-64B at 10.3 is ridiculously bad

2s38 nooooooo

this round of battle rating changes is an absolute JOKE, as if we couldnt make the game any worse by compressing 11.7-12.7 even more, while indirectly buffing 13.3 Su30 premiums

Congrats Gaijin, you ruined the 9.0 lineup and added two vehicles in 9.3 that will never be played by anyone that isn’t grinding through 9.0 now.
There is no way on Earth the Chieftain 900 and Mk.10 will ever see the light of day in my 9.3 lineup as they are objectively worse than any vehicle in this lineup.

Thank god, that always confused me.
