I don’t really see how this is any loss, you get the same rewards from sinking unmanned bots as you do regular players. And referral codes really aren’t a factor for the average player. (They already removed the top ge reward from naval with the previous botting problem)

Even if Gaijin removes referral codes, it will have zero impact on my gameplay.
Solving the botting problem itself is good.

Not really. Naval has suffered from botting issues because it’s much easier to make a bot for the mode.
Gunnery and movement systems in naval sadly just accomodate for it far more than air or ground

The whole map is a bug. CQC hell without ww2 immersion.

But I actually like Sun City. I am honestly not sure why so many people do not like it. If you want to play flat ground, CQC, go to the cap furthest from the beach. If you want a mix, go mid, and if you want some actual 3D terrain, go beach side. Has a little bit of everything for everyone. I don’t get the hate 🤷♂️

For you guys who do not like Sun City, are you always going towards the CQC cap? Do you try the beach side much? I almost never go to the CQC cap. But it seems like 90% of the team always rushes the CQC cap point.

I don’t get the hate as well. For instance, Breslau is objectively worse and less dynamic than Sun City in every single regard.
Port Novorossiysk is straightup masochism, I don’t get how could anyone (and I mean ANYONE, from NATO to redfor mains) could like a CQB-based slop whose flanking routes are deathpits.
And I simply won’t elaborate that much on Campania, just by saying the word spawncamp everyone should get a memory on that map.

Agreed. And the mid cap turns into a “reverse sniping” location for the CQC players to snipe the flankers trying to hold mid 😂 Not a terrible map, but I do like Sun City better than Breslau as well.

I am about to blacklist that map…it has been showing up SO much. And the odd thing about that map too, I have a TON of excellent light tanks for hard flanks. But I have still disliked playing on that map recently.
But not Sun City. It’s not my fav, but I don’t do that “dangit” when I see the match is going to be Sun City. Oh well lol, can’t please everyone, even when making a map to please everyone 🤣 Glad there are people posting in defense of it here though, I definitely do not want to see Sun City removed permanently.

I’d ban that map, but it has been the source of a few of my nukes so i keep it around. I always go C, though. A just attracts the lemming train, which leaves the southern flank open for spawn campage. tbh, I don’t ban any map, maybe I’m just a masochist.

I’m surprised they even let people have it in their usernames. I get that it can be someone’s actual name, but 99% of people who use it are not using it for that reason.
Can the fix involve replacing it with White Rock Fortress?
So much sun city hate, and its unironically my favourite map (I hate trees and hills and it has the least of both)
