Let’s make something even stronger that’s already strong at its current BR.
Sorry for only giving this area 30mm of armor. We checked the available documents and found that it should actually be 3,000mm of titanium with depleted uranium, plus a bit of air spacing for potential fragments.
Nothing to fix the servers with high packet loss.
Nothing to add fire suppression systems to the Abrams.
Nothing to check the guidance on ALL the missiles in the game that are missing targets they normally wouldn’t.
NOTHING. But hey… we do need to make one nation even stronger for beginner players, just Because yes !
There are some major things over looked with these CAS SP changes.
The cost partly being based on mass is not an accurate determination of a bombs effectiveness when it comes to IR guided bombs.
For example, if a plane can choose between 8 250lb IR guided bombs or 4 1000lb IR guided bombs, the 8 250lb bombs will be far more effective simply because you don’t need a 1000lb bomb when it’s going to hit the target directly anyway, so the loadout with more bombs will be far better.
However, with these changes, it costs more to spawn the 4 1000lb bombs because its a 4000lb total instead of 2000lb total with the 8 250lb loadout.
IR guided missile quantity is not taken into account for the SP cost.
For example, taking 1 IR guided missile costs the same as taking 6.
Making changes across the board on seeker/warhead type instead of making changes based on specific munitions.
It is quite obvious that certain munitions perform far better than others, however currently, all IR guided missiles with HEAT warheads and IR guided missiles with HE warheads are being treated the same.
For example, the AGM65G is put at the same SP cost as the KH38MT despite being far worse in every aspect, speed, range, firing gimbal and kill probability. This is a massive over look that makes planes that use these underwhelming missiles harder and harder to use every time SP increases are introduced because of particular munition over performing.
Ah yes, Russian teams in the 10.7 BR range weren’t already dominating enough with the godawful BMPT spam, now they will dominate even harder with this reload buff.
An aced Abrams can, yes. which doesn’t really matter considering very few players actually have aced crews. On the other hand, any retard can buy any Russian tank, and instantly have comparable if not outright better reload than everyone else. And that isn’t even taking into account that that rate of fire will never go down due to a loader dying, or how you can just take hits to the autoloader in Russian tanks and take no damage from it.
And you failed to say anything about the dumpster fire that is 10.7 currently. I played Russia 10.7 earlier and found it to be a trivial challenge to get 7+ kills, and I don’t even have a BMPT.
Russia is playing this game on easy mode, and Gaijin seems committed to making it even easier.
Positive changes all round. Good to see reload buffs for T series tanks. Though, 10.7 is all about that BMPT and Object292 duo, so no reload buff for the 152mm. Not that it really needs it, haha.
Blockquote * The calculation rules for the Spawn Point cost of aircraft Secondary Armament presets that contain guided bombs have been adjusted. Now the cost of these weapons depends not only on the mass of the used bombs, but on their guidance type as well. Bombs with the combined GNSS + Laser guidance, as well as the bombs with the TV guidance have an additional multiplier of 1.1. Bombs with the IR seekers have an additional multiplier of 1.3. For example, the MiG-27K has a base cost of the aircraft of 540 SP. Equipped with 4x KAB-500Kr with a total mass of 2080 kg it will now require 540 * 1.4 (multiplier for more than 2000kg of bombs) * 1.1 (multiplier for the TV seeker of the guided bombs) = 832 SP to spawn in. Typhoon (AESA) has a base cost of the aircraft of 540 SP. Equipped with 8x SPICE 250 with a total mass of 1040 kg it will now require 540 * 1.272 (multiplier for the 1040 kg of guided bombs) * 1.3 (multiplier for the IR seeker of the guided bombs) = 893 SP. If the aircraft has guided bombs with different seeker types equipped, the highest of the guidance type multipliers will be used for the total mass of the guided bombs. A restart of the game client may be required for the correct Spawn Point price of the aircraft to be displayed.
It’s incredible how changes can be made to the GBU, and they still haven’t fixed the problem they’ve had for about 3 months.
